ASITA is the Federation of Scientific Associations for Territorial and Environmental Information. The four scientific associations federated under ASITA—each focusing on specific aspects of surveying, processing, managing, and representing Geographic Information in Italy—are: SIFET, Italian Society of Photogrammetry and Topography AIC, Italian Cartography Association AIT, Italian Remote Sensing Association AM/FM/GIS Italy, Automated Mapping/Facilities Management/Geographic Information Systems/Italy The ASITA Conference serves as a meeting point for researchers, operators, teachers, professionals, public and private users, institutions, and companies operating in the various sectors of surveying, managing, and representing territorial and environmental data. The scientific goal is to foster discussion and in-depth analysis of specific topics, promoting a multidisciplinary and integrated vision of the Geomatics sector. The growing interest generated by previous editions reaffirms the need to develop Geospatial Information with integrity, professionalism, and synergy among all active components of Geomatics—without overlooking Training, a fundamental element for preparing skilled and competent Geomatics experts. The integration between different sectors is increasingly evident, and the need to develop greater awareness and focus on land management finds extensive and practical expression within the ASITA Conferences
