
You are invited to take part in the all-Russian conference with international participation “Basic Research in Endocrinology: A Modern Strategy for the Development and Technologies of Personalized Medicine,” which will be held in Novosibirsk, 26–27 November 2020. The purpose of this conference is to disseminate the latest basic and clinical findings in the fields of etiology, clinical characteristics, and modern diagnostics and treatments of endocrine disorders among a wide spectrum of specialists. The conference will include plenary sessions, specialty sessions, satellite symposia, and an open competition for young scientists.

In the Russian Scientific Citation Index (RSCI): 935 publications, 8414 citations, h-index: 35. In Scopus: 281 publications, 6578 citations, h-index: 23. In the Web of Science: 283 publications, 4429 citations, h-index: 21. In 1982, he graduated from Novosibirsk State Medical University. In 1990, he defended a PhD dissertation, and in 2001, an ScD dissertation. The main basic-research accomplishments of Voevoda M.I.: A study on the key on molecular biological, organism level, and populational patterns of development of major internal diseases in the Siberian population and designing a scientific basis for their prevention, diagnosis, and treatment. Voevoda M.I. supervises graduate courses in the Medical Genetics specialty and the Endocrinology specialty. Under him tutelage, 20 PhD dissertations and 10 ScD dissertations have been defended. M.I. Voevoda has been elected Deputy Chairman of the Presidium of the SB RAS Since 2017 (https://www.sbras.ru/en). He is a Member of the Council of the International Society of Therapists, Member of the Council of the International Society for Circumpolar Health, Vice-President of the Russian Society of Atherosclerosis. Conceptualization of the one-directionality of highly atherogenic changes of oxidation-modified and structurally altered lipoproteins of the blood, including small high-density atherogenic subfractions of lipoproteins, in clinically significant atherosclerosis and in the presence of its major risk factors; in this regard, novel evaluation criteria of pharmacotherapy effectiveness have been proposed.
