Firstly, I would like to sincerely thank Bioengineering and MDPI, for organizing this webinar on cardiovascular regenerative medicine. Given the strong connection between cardiovascular regenerative medicine and biomechanics, several biomedical engineers are working in this area of research. As evidenced by recent news, there has been a lot of development in this area of research, to the point that we are coming closer to first in human trials in some specific applications in cardiovascular regenerative medicine. Our speakers in this webinar are prolific researchers in the field of cardiovascular regenerative medicine.
