Submissions should be made by authors online by registering with www.sciforum.net, and using the "New Submission" function once logged into the system.

1. Scholars interested in participating in the conference can submit their abstract (about 200–300 words) online on this website until 1 October 2021.
2. The Conference Committee will notify the acceptance of the abstract by 15 October 2021.
3. In case of acceptance, authors will be asked to submit a poster (in PDF) until the submission deadline on 2 November 2021. In addition, each accepted abstract will have the opportunity to be selected for a Flash Poster Presentation in a live online session. You will be notified about the selection by 19 November 2021.
4. The posters will be available on cic2021.sciforum.net for discussion and rating during the time of the conference from 24-26 November 2021.
5. After the conference, the Scientific Committee will select abstracts for which extended papers may be included for publication in a Special Issue of the open access journal Coatings with a 20% discount on the Article Processing Charges (APC). Extended paper submissions will undergo the usual process of the journal, including peer-review.

Posters

Posters will be available on this conference website during the event. Participants will be able to check each poster and post comments and questions during the entire conference. Please submit your Poster along with a copy of your accepted abstract before 2 November 2021, following the poster instructions: 1) The poster should be in PDF format 2) The content of the poster should be a comprehensive presentation of your accepted submission. 3) No copyright issues with any elements in the poster.
