Welcome to the inaugural MDPI Cryptography webinar, dedicated to Advances in Post-Quantum Cryptography—a technical event bringing together researchers, developers, and standards contributors to discuss the latest breakthroughs in post-quantum cryptography.
Quantum computation is currently one of the greatest threats to modern cryptography. In theory, the security of contemporary cryptographic schemes is based on computational complexity, while quantum computing reshapes the landscape and boundaries of this complexity and, thus, poses a transformative challenge to the field. To prepare for this threat, many countries and international standards organizations have initiated the standardization and migration of post-quantum cryptographic schemes. To help promote and support these developments, we are organizing this webinar.
Whether you are designing new protocols, evaluating candidates for migration, or studying foundational constructions, this webinar will provide actionable insights and foster collaboration across academia and industry. We look forward to participating in a stimulating exchange of ideas.
