The Villas at Stonehaven is a fourteen-villa retreat on the island of Tobago, Trinidad and Tobago. Each villa, numbered 1 through 15, (no # 13) is designed and furnished along the traditional English colonial style, featuring a wide living-veranda for dining and lounging that subtends a family-size infinity pool with expansive pool-deck. Sleeping quarters, three per villa, are air-conditioned, with screened louvers, darkening shutters, private balconies and full en suite bathrooms. Travel to ANR Robinson (Scarborough ) International Airport [TAB], Scarborough, Tobago via Piarco International Airport [POS], Post-of-Spain, Trinidad:

• From the USA: United Airlines, American Airlines and Caribbean Airlines/AA. Ports of departure include New York [JFK], Miami [MIA] and Houston [IAH]. https://www.directflights.com/to/POS

  From Europe: British Airways from London Gatwick [LGW] and KLM from Amsterdam [AMS]. Direct flights to [TAB] originate in [FRA] and [AMS] via [JFK] to [TAB]

  • Please make your own air-travel arrangements to Tobago [TAB].
  • Generally, travelers fly into Trinidad [POS] (Port-of-Spain, the capital city of Trinidad and of Trinidad and Tobago) before taking a local flight to [TAB] (ANR Robinson International Airport, Scarborough, the capital city of Tobago). Here is a typical example using United Airlines with one stop in Houston.
  • You may be able to book directly to TAB but travel still requires a stopover in POS.
  • Depending upon your arrival time, you may have to stay over in Trinidad (near the airport) before traveling on to Tobago [TAB]. Hotel recommendations close to [POS] are available upon request.

  United Airlines arrives at 11:23 PM at which time there are no local flights to Tobago. Hence, there is need to stay-over at a local hotel near the airport. Here are some local hotels to allow a one-night booking.

On-site Travel while at Stonehaven Villas:

On-site travel between/among the villas and between the villas and the Pavilion (Gathering Place) will be provided by 2-reserved, 7-seater vehicles. These vehicles will be held on-site and will be used to drive us among the villas, for local shopping and between the villas and the beaches.

Depending upon your country of origin, a visa may be required in addition to a valid, government-issued passport. Visitors to Trinidad and Tobago must obtain a visa unless they are citizens of one of the visa-exempt countries. However, citizens of most countries do not require a visa to visit Trinidad and Tobago, except for citizens from countries like China, Russia, India, and most African nations which typically need a visa to enter the country; always check the latest requirements with the Trinidad and Tobago embassy before traveling.
