Welcome to the 1st International Electronic Conference—Futuristic Applications on Electronics

Dear scientists, researchers, and authors,

We are pleased to announce that the 1st International Electronic Conference—Futuristic Applications on Electronics, chaired by Prof. Dr. Flavio Canavero, will be held at https://sciforum.net/conference/IEC2020 from 1 to 30 November 2020.

This conference aims to provide leading scientists working in the broad field of electronics with a robust common platform on which to share and discuss the latest research and to promote the advancement of this exciting and rapidly changing field. We would like to encourage submissions about current and emerging technologies, focused on the theoretical, simulation and experimental aspects of electronics. The following broad themes will be covered:

  • New engineering developments related to the heterogeneous integration of wireless and mixed signal devices, bio-chips, power devices, optoelectronics and microelectromechanical systems.
  • Future applications of electronic circuits and systems, with a special emphasis on food and agriculture, healthcare, mobility and smart cities, and sustainable energy.
  • The fundamental classical theory and the Artificial Intelligence models supporting emerging technologies.

We proudly invite the global community of scholars to join IEC2020 to present their latest research and development and share novel ideas on the multidisciplinary aspects of heterogeneous integration and on applications to new societal challenges. Thanks to the flexibility of our innovative electronic platform, you are welcome to both upload and present your work and to attend the conference completely free of charge.

The 1st International Electronic Conference—Futuristic Applications on Electronics is sponsored by MDPI and the scientific journal Electronics (ISSN 2079-9292; Impact Factor: 1.764). The conference proceedings papers and presentations will be available on https://iec2020.sciforum.net for discussion during 1-30 November 2020 and will be published in journal Engineering Proceedings.

Extended and expanded versions of conference proceedings papers can be submitted to Special Issue "Selected Papers from the 1st International Electronic Conference – Futuristic Applications on Electronics" in journal Electronics, with a 10% discount on the Article Processing Charges.

Abstracts (in English) should be submitted online by 31 August 2020 in the section “Conference Calls”. After abstracts have been accepted, we will start accepting full papers—please submit the full paper by 15 October 2020. The conference itself will be held from 1–30 November 2020.

We hope that you will be able to participate in this exciting event, which is organized and sponsored by MDPI, a scholarly open access publisher (https://www.mdpi.com/).
