Prof. Leandros Maglaras

Dr. Leandros A. Maglaras is a professor of cybersecurity in the School of Computing at Edinburgh Napier University. From September 2017 to November 2019, he was the Director of the National Cyber Security Authority of Greece. He obtained a B.Sc. (M.Sc. equivalent) in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece in 1998, M.Sc. in Industrial Production and Management from the University of Thessaly in 2004, and M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical & Computer Engineering from the University of Thessaly, in 2008 and 2014 respectively. In 2018 he was awarded a Ph.D. in Intrusion Detection in SCADA systems from the University of Huddersfield He is featured in Stanford University's list of the world’s Top 2% scientists. He is a Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical & Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and is an author of more than 200 papers in scientific magazines and conferences.

Dr. Wenbing Zhao

Dr. Wenbing Zhao is a Full Professor of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Cleveland State University, Ohio, USA. He serves as an Associate Editor of Computers (MDPI). He is also an Associate Editor of IEEE Access, an Academic Editor of PeerJ Computer Science, and serves on the editorial boards of Sensors (MDPI), International Journal of Parallel Emergent and Distributed Systems, and Applied System Innovation (MDPI). His research interests include blockchain consensus and applications, smart and connected healthcare, computer vision-based motion tracking, distributed computing, and computer security. He has published over 240 peer-reviewed papers, three research monographs, and holds two US patents, including one as sole inventor on the PACTS technology. He is a recipient of the CSU Distinguished Faculty Teaching Award and a senior member of IEEE.

Prof. Dr. Frank Werner

For over 40 years, Prof. Frank Werner has studied exact and approximate solutions to diverse scheduling problems. Starting around 1980 with genetic algorithms for flow shop scheduling, his research also involves computational complexity, uncertain scheduling, train scheduling and graph theory. He has taken part in research projects supported by DFG, INTAS and the Belarusian Republican Foundation for Fundamental Research. His publications include 2 math textbooks, 17 compiled/edited books, and over 300 journal papers.
