My research focuses on neonatal brain injury, particularly hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy. I have conducted both basic science and clinical research aimed at improving the understanding, diagnosis, and treatment of neonatal neurologic injury. I currently serve as Director of the Therapeutic Hypothermia Program at the University of Florida.
