Bio: Dr. Nathan D. Wong is Professor and Director of the Heart Disease Prevention Program, Mary and Steve Wen Cardiovascular Division and Co-Director of the Center for Global Cardiometabolic Health and Nutrition at the University of California, Irvine, USA. Dr. Wong is also a past president of the American Society for Preventive Cardiology. He has published more than 500 peer-reviewed publications and book chapters on various topic in preventive cardiology and cardiovascular epidemiology. His research interests include cardiovascular risk assessment, subclinical atherosclerosis, diabetes and cardiovascular disease, and dyslipidemia.
