Dr. Cotogni graduated in Medicine, completed his postgraduate in Anesthesiology and Intensive Care, and holds his Master’s degree in Pain Management and Palliative Care. He is Medical Director of Pain Management and Palliative Care, Head Physician Acute Palliative Care Unit and Palliative Care Team, University of Turin, Italy. He is Adjunct Professor of Anesthesiology. He is Editor-in-chief for the Section Palliative Care of Healthcare and serves as Guest Editor for Healthcare, Cancers, and BMC Palliative Care.

Prof. Dr. Rüdiger Pryss

Dr. Rüdiger Pryss holds the Chair of Medical Data Science at the University of Würzburg and the University Hospital of Würzburg. He earned his diploma and Ph.D. in computer science from the University of Ulm. For over a decade, he has been conducting research at the intersection of medicine, psychology, and computer science, focusing on digital health, ecological computing, AI in medicine, mobile computing, and medical informatics. He has developed more than 20 digital applications, including the eSano platform (co-developed). Beyond the academic sphere, he is a co-founder of a healthcare startup, a member of the Bavarian Innovation Network for Health, and a member of the DIN working group on AI in medicine.
