Dr. Rüdiger Pryss holds the Chair of Medical Data Science at the University of Würzburg and the University Hospital of Würzburg. He earned his diploma and Ph.D. in computer science from the University of Ulm. For over a decade, he has been conducting research at the intersection of medicine, psychology, and computer science, focusing on digital health, ecological computing, AI in medicine, mobile computing, and medical informatics. He has developed more than 20 digital applications, including the eSano platform (co-developed). Beyond the academic sphere, he is a co-founder of a healthcare startup, a member of the Bavarian Innovation Network for Health, and a member of the DIN working group on AI in medicine.
