Dear Colleagues,
Following the success of IOCPS 2025, you are cordially invited to participate in the 4th International Online Conference on Polymer Science (IOCPS 2027). The conference is organized by the MDPI open access journal Polymers (ISSN: 2073-4360; Impact Factor: 5.8) and will be held online from 10 to 12 November 2027.
As an entirely virtual event, the conference removes the traditional barriers of travel and cost, enabling broad participation from anywhere in the world with minimal logistical overhead. It offers a unique platform to share breakthroughs, foster collaborations, and engage in lively scientific exchange across the entire polymer community.
Today, polymer science plays a key role in addressing some of our most pressing global challenges: from sustainable materials and biodegradable solutions, to high performance composites for energy and healthcare. The conference is structured around six core areas that bridge fundamental research with practical innovations. Topics include:
S1. Biobased, Biodegradable-compostable, and Recyclable Polymers;
S2. Polymer Analysis and Characterization;
S3. Recent Functional and Structural Applications of Polymer Systems;
S4. Polymer Composites and Nanocomposites;
S5. Polymer Physics and Theory;
S6. Polymer Technology.
Outstanding contributions from each session will be eligible for the Best Oral Presentation Award and Best Poster Award. Additionally, all participants are encouraged to upload a research poster to our dedicated online poster gallery, allowing your work receives broad visibility beyond the live sessions.
All conference participants will have the opportunity to submit a full manuscript to Polymers with a 20% discount on the publication fee.
We look forward to stimulating discussions, fresh perspectives, and fruitful exchanges with colleagues from around the globe. We warmly welcome your participation.
Kind regards,
Prof. Dr. Giulio Malucelli
