
Hello to all of our colleagues internationally who have come online to join us for this fascinating webinar, focusing on the current state of the art in breast reconstructive surgery.
This webinar has been brought together by the Journal of Clinical Medicine, which encompasses a range of clinical specialties and disciplines, bridging the gap between the different areas of clinical medicine.
The Journal of Clinical Medicine encompasses the affiliated societies of the International Bone Research Association (IBRA), the Italian Resuscitation Council (IRC), the Spanish Society of Hematology and Hemotherapy (SEHH), the Japan Association for Clinical Engineers (JACE), the European Independent Foundation in Angiology/Vascular Medicine (VAS), and others.
Today, we are focusing on breast reconstruction. Breast reconstructive surgery is an important procedure for women who have undergone mastectomy due to breast cancer or other medical conditions. It helps restore a sense of wholeness and femininity, improving the psychological well-being and quality of life of patients. The surgery can help boost self-confidence and body image, allowing women to feel more comfortable in their own skin. Additionally, breast reconstructive surgery can help patients achieve symmetry and balance in their appearance, which can have a positive impact on their overall physical and emotional health. It is a personal decision that should be made in consultation with healthcare providers to ensure the best outcome for each individual.
