Functional Two-Dimensional Materials for Advanced Electrochemical Devices

Welcome to the Micromachines webinar, Functional Two-Dimensional Materials for Advanced Electrochemical Devices. This webinar explores how molecular design and low-dimensional architectures can improve electrochemical technologies. Dr. Manmatha Mahato will discuss the functional integration of covalent organic frameworks onto Ti3C2Tx MXene and the resulting opportunities for energy storage and electrochemical actuation. Dr. Shuangying Wei will present advances in two-dimensional materials for electrochemical energy storage, with attention to electrode design, reaction mechanisms, and operando characterization. Together, the talks connect materials synthesis, interfacial structure, and device performance across batteries, supercapacitors, actuators, and microscale electrochemical systems. A joint question-and-answer session will follow the presentations.
