2nd Webinar on NDT

Subsurface Characterization/Monitoring Using Multiscale Geophysical Methods

The second webinar on NDT titled "Subsurface Characterization/Monitoring Using Multiscale Geophysical Methods" was given on September 23, 2024, by Professor Pantelis Soupios, from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals, Saudi Arabia. The event was chaired by Professor Fabio Tosti, from the Faringdon Research Centre at the University of West London, UK. Prof. Soupios emphasised on the relevance of geophysical methods in non-destructive testing science and the role of geophysicists to see the unseen. A multi-scale journey across application areas such as Oil & Gas industry, precision agriculture and groundwater detection, has been presented. Special focus has been given to the importance of integrating diverse types and scales of data to cover gaps in subsurface characterisation and the research interest that this topic could generate in future. The webinar was well attended, and several technical questions have been raised by the audience.

In this section, you will find the recordings of this webinar to watch, re-watch and share with your colleagues!
