Bovine Leukemia Virus: Research Findings for Better Herd Health and Management

We are excited to invite you to attend the webinar, “Bovine Leukemia Virus: Research Findings for Better Herd Health and Management”, on January 14, 2022 from 4:00 to 6:30 pm CET. During the webinar, four expert scientists will share their team’s research results on bovine leukemia virus (BLV). Dr. Scott Wells will provide insights into the phylodynamic approach to a novel BLV diagnostic tool. Mr. Chris Kellogg will discuss how BLV diagnostic outputs may change throughout a lactation cycle of an infected cow. Irregularities of immune cell function caused by BLV will be led by Dr. Paul Coussens, and Dr. Silvina Gutiérrez will provide insights into genetically BLV-resistant cattle as a means to control BLV infections within herds.
