The interest in mining to obtain critical metals has increased in recent decades. Among these metals are cobalt, lithium, rare earth elements, gallium, germanium, hafnium, indium, niobium, platinum-group metals, tantalum, titanium, vanadium, tungsten, and strontium. These critical metals are crucial for the energy transition.
This webinar will discuss environmental and technical aspects of critical mineral recovery from secondary sources for application in green energy production. We will discuss technical aspects of battery recycling and challenges for future research on the global production of green hydrogen.
