


On Wednesday, 1 December 2021, MDPI and the Journal Sustainability organized the 7th Webinar on Sustainability, entitled "Green Technologies for Urban Water Management". This online seminar was chaired by Dr. Kefeng Zhang from the Water Research Centre, School of Civil and Environmental Engineering, UNSW Sydney.
After a short introduction by the chair, Prof. Dr. Ana Deletic presented her experience in urban water management in Australia. The second speaker, Dr. Daniel (Wei) Xu, showed how to use ‘smart’ real-time control technology in rainwater harvesting systems. Dr. Heidi Kreibich followed with her presentation on property level flood precaution. The last speaker was Prof. Dr. Jia Haifeng and gave an overview on green infrastructure applications in sponge city construction.
The four speaker presentations were followed by an engaging Panel Discussion moderated by the chair Dr. Kefeng Zhang , and with the help of Dr. Veljko Prodanovic, Prof. Dr. Eduardo Mário Mendiondo, and Prof. Dr. Aleksandar Djukić.
