


Three talks were presented at the webinar. The first talk was delivered by Professor Aviv Gibali and it was on optimization and feasibility problems arising in radiotherapy.
Several applications that are modelled either as feasibility or optimization models and methods for solving them, mainly projection methods and superiorization were discussed. The second talk by Professor Roman Polyak was on nonlinear production - consumption equilibrium model which is a combination and generalization of both classical linear programming and classical input-output models. For this model convergence, convergence rate and the existence of a complexity bound are discussed. The third talk by Dr. Alexander J. Zaslavski was devoted to the turnpike phenomenon for symmetric variational problems.
