I would like to warmly welcome all webinar participants. Let me recall the title of the webinar: “Infinite systems of nonlinear differential and integral equations”.
It is my pleasure to chair this webinar. My name is Józef Banaś. My place of work is Department of Nonlinear Analysis at the Rzeszów University of Technology in Rzeszów, Poland. Let me explain that Rzeszów is a city situated in southeastern part of Poland, close to the border with Ukraine.
The subject of our webinar is closely associated with the theory of differential and integral equations and their systems – possibly infinite. Everybody knows that both differential and integral equations play a significant role in description of several real world events and problems. Therefore, the subject of our webinar has very important significance. Let me also announce that infinite systems of such equations begin to have very important significance in description of several events and problems.

The webinar was entirely dedicated to the subject of nonlinear differential and integral equations. Special attention was paid to infinite systems of differential and integral equations. Particularly, the basic and essential facts concerning those systems were presented in order to enable participans to become familiar with that new branch of the theory of equations in questions.
