Phytotoxins Biological Activity and Mode of Action Toward Their Potential Application in Agriculture and Medicine

Dear scientists interested to phytotoxins word, welcome to this webinar meeting organized in collaboration with the editorial board of Toxins -MDPI and in particular with the support of Dr. Roxy Liu.

The meeting is organized with the intention of discussing the most recent research on phytotoxins and the damage they cause by playing a fundamental role in the pathogenic mechanisms of fungi and bacteria that induce serious diseases of agrarian, forest and ornamental plants. Phytotoxins can also be a tool to combat many harmful agents in agriculture and have unexpected biological activities in other fields of economic and social importance. Studying their activity and the mechanism of action could allow us to find not only a solution to harmful diseases of many agricultural and forest plants but to understand what their practical use could be in other fields. So we welcome not only scientists involved in the chemistry and physiology of phytotoxins but all those who have an interest in bioactive natural substances and their other potential biological activities. The meeting will not only include the presentations of three eminent scientists, who have focused their research in this field, but will stimulate discussions between them and the numerous participants who we hope will participate in the event organized by Toxins.
