Prof. Dr. François Roubille

Prof. Dr. François Roubille

PhyMedExp, Université de Montpellier, INSERM, CNRS, Cardiology Department, CHU de Montpellier, INI-CRT, Montpellier, France;
Professor Francois Roubille followed a double curriculum during his medical studies in Paris, by integrating the scientific course of the Ecole Normale Supérieure Ulm, Paris, France. During his clinic he completed a 2-year post-doctoral fellowship at the Montreal Heart Institute from 2012 to 2013. Appointed Professor in Cardiology, he is in charge of the Intensive Cardiac Care Unit in the University hospital of Montpellier, France. He also coordinates the Heart Failure team. He is involved in numerous clinical studies on heart failure and is a signatory to more than 240 publications referenced pubmed including 1 New England Journal of Medicine signed as the last author. He is the leader of 2 multicenter projects focused on Heart Failure (PRADO Project for Return Home – ICAM Project: Biomarker-Guided Therapy for Heart Failure). Professor F. Roubille is very involved in the learning societies of cardiology. Former president of the French group for acute cardiac care, he is currently president of the Heart Failure group of the French Society of Cardiology.
