


On Wednesday, 4 May 2022, MDPI and the Clinical Medicine Journal organized the 7th webinar on Clinical Medicine, entitled "Updates on Leukemia in Children, Myelodysplastic Syndromes and Red Blood Cell Diseases".
The introduction was held by the Chair of the webinar, Prof. Dr. Rupert Handgretinger, who is professor emeritus of pediatrics and is currently a consultant at the Abu Dhabi Stem Cell Center and Yas clinic Khalifa City. He was also first speaker to quick off this webinar, with his presentation "Advances in the Classification and Therapy of Pediatric Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia".
He was followed by Dr. Esther Natalie Oliva with her presentation "Patient-Reported Outcomes in Myelodysplastic Syndromes". She earned degrees in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Messina, Italy.
The third presentation was held by Prof. Dr. Tsukuru Umemura with his presentation "The Signatures of Circulating Extracellular Vesicles in Hematological Diseases". He is professor at the International University of Health and Welfare and Director of Clinical Laboratory at the Kouhoukai Takagi Hosiptal.
The presentations were followed by a Q&A and a discussion, moderated by the Chair Prof. Dr. Rupert Handgretinger. The webinar was offered via Zoom and required registration to attend.
