Welcome from the Chairs
It is a pleasure to announce The 1st International Online Conference on Mathematics and Applications. The conference is sponsored by MDPI and the scientific journal Mathematics, and will be held from 1 to 15 May 2023. The structure of the conference will be similar to the section structure of the journal. The main special sessions and their aims are listed below:
- S1. Engineering Mathematics: Submissions reporting novel mathematical methods and computational techniques for engineering and industry problems are welcome for this session.
- S2. Mathematics and Computer Science: This session welcomes research paradigms combining mathematical reasoning and computing.
- S3. Dynamical Systems: This session is open to research on the following areas, in which mathematics plays a key role: complex dynamical systems; nonlinear systems; arithmetic dynamics; chaos theory; control theory; ergodic theory; functional analysis; graph dynamical systems; symbolic dynamics; system dynamics; topological dynamics.
- S4. Financial Mathematics: This session will focus on applications of mathematical methods/modeling to financial problems such as derivatives pricing, risk and portfolio management, etc.
- S5. Mathematical Physics: For this session, contributions discussing modern methods of functional analysis, probability theory, differential geometry, ordinary and partial differential equations, algebraic topology, algebra and mathematical logic to any area of physics are of particular interest.
- S6. Algebra and Geometry with Applications to Related Fields: This session includes algebra, differential geometry, global analysis, complex geometry, computational aspects, arithmetic, cryptography, and topology.
- S7. Probability and Statistics: Research on theory and applications of probability and statistical techniques to random phenomena and diverse areas are welcome.
- S8. Mathematical Biology: This session will focus on research reporting new concepts or an understanding of biological systems using mathematical models/approaches.
- S9. Network Science: Research at the interface of mathematics, physics, biology, sociology, data science, and network science is the focus of this session.
- S10. Fuzzy Set Theory: This session aims to disseminate and communicate fuzzy-set-theory-driven scientific knowledge and impactful discoveries to academia, industry, and the public worldwide.
- S11. Difference and Differential Equations: Both qualitative and qualitative theories of difference and differential equations along with their cross-disciplinary applications will be of interest to the Session.
- S12. Computational Mathematics: The Session covers all areas of modern computational mathematics and analysis such as functional analysis, numerical linear algebra, numerical optimization, numerical approximation, computational geometry, numerical ODEs and PDEs, inverse problems, etc.
We hope that you will join this symposium to exchange ideas, create fruitful collaborations and make the first edition of the conference a success.

Hong Zheng, Ph.D., is currently Full Professor at the Beijing University of Technology, China. He received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees from the Northeastern Institute of Technology (now Northeastern University), China, in 1985 and 1988, respectively. In 1988, he was assigned to work at the Institute of Rock and Soil Mechanics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. He received his Ph.D. degree in geotechnical engineering from the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2000. Professor Zheng was entitled as an expert who can enjoy the state council special allowances in 1994, entitled as an expert for the “China's Thousand Talents Plan” in 2009, and honored with a “New Century Excellent Talents in University (NCET)” of Ministry of Education of China. Now he is a deputy director of the Technical Committee on Physics and Numerical Simulation in the Chinese Society for Rock Mechanics and Engineering. Professor Zhang is an editorial board member in several international academic journals. He has been invited as a visiting scholar to Hokkaido Institute of Technology (Japan), Lawrence National Laboratory (USA), University of Toronto (Canada), University of Wyoming (USA), and the University of Hong Kong (China) and has invited to give presentations at many international conferences. His current field of research is computational mechanics, computational geomechanics, slope stability and fracture mechanics.

Title: Koopman Operator Theory for Design, Control and Learning. Abstract: Koopman Operator Theory (KOT) emerged as the key framework in design control and learning of dynamical systems. The key to the approach is lifting of the state space dynamics into a functional, possibly higher dimensional space. I will describe the key elements of the theory, such as the Koopman Mode Decomposition, and its extensions to control and learning that enable modern engineering applications.
Igor Mezic is a Full Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, and the Department of Mathematics at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Professor Mezic works on operator-theoretic methods in nonlinear dynamical systems and control theory and their applications. He did his Dipl. Ing. in Mechanical Engineering in 1990 at the University of Rijeka, Croatia and his Ph. D. in Applied Mechanics at the California Institute of Technology, USA. He was a postdoctoral researcher at the Mathematics Institute, University of Warwick, UK in 1994–1995. From 1995 to 1999 he was a member of the Mechanical Engineering Department at the University of California, Santa Barbara where he is currently a Professor. In 2000–2001 he has worked as an Associate Professor at Harvard University in the Division of Engineering and Applied Sciences. He won numerous prizes for his research, among them the Alfred P. Sloan Fellowship, the NSF CAREER Award from NSF and the George S. Axelby Outstanding Paper Award on "Control of Mixing" from IEEE. He gave numerous plenary lectures at international conferences, and was an Editor of Physica D: Nonlinear Phenomena and an Associate Editor of the Journal of Applied Mechanics and SIAM Journal on Control and Optimization. He is a Fellow of the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics, a Fellow of the American Physical Society and a Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.

Title: Theory of Numbers Application in Practical Metrology Tasks Abstract: The theory of Numbers has applications in many fields of practical life. One of the most indicative of them is Metrology. Because naturally the measurement is a comparison of unknown measurand with a certain integer number of units, obviously plus a certain integer number of subunits, obtained by division of the whole unit by finite quantity of integer parts. Thus, the framework of pure Theory of Numbers can be helpful for Metrology because this branch of Mathematics can provide useful tools for faster and more converged solution. For example, in the time/frequency measurement the use of Theory of Numbers theorems, and particularly the mediant concept, can propose the result unattainable for classic statistical metrology. This in engineering consequently can offer novel possibilities in many industrial devices such as pressure and torque sensors, accelerometric platforms, IMU, microbalances, 3D self-orientation positioners, etc.
Oleg Yu. Sergiyenko received his B.S. and M.S. degrees from Kharkiv National University of Automobiles and Highways in 1991 and 1993, respectively. He received his Ph.D. degree from Kharkiv National Polytechnic University in 1997. In 1997, he joined the Kharkiv National University of Automobiles and Highways. In December 2004, was invited by the Engineering Institute of Baja California Autonomous University for researcher position. He is currently Head of the Applied Physics Department of Engineering Institute of Baja California Autonomous University. Dr. Sergiyenko has been the author of one book and an editor of eight books, written 31 book chapters and over 160 articles, holds four patents, and is a reviewer for various international journals. His research interests include automated metrology, machine vision systems, 3D coordinates measurement, control systems, robot navigation, and simulation of robotic swarm behaviors.

Title: Higher Order Approximation Methods for Multi term Time Fractional Parabolic Integro Differential Equations of Volterra type. Abstract: In this talk, I will consider a class of multi term time fractional problems which are frequent in viscoelastic modeling. We generalize this problem in parabolic convection-diffusion-reaction framework and introduce the Volterra integral operator for considering existence, uniqueness and numerical approximations of these type of problems. We propose a time adaptive graded mesh which will produce higher order accuracy in time even when the weakly singular integral operator is present at this problem. Theoretical results will be shown and numerical experiments will be produced in favor of theoretical findings.
Pratibhamoy Das, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor of Department of Mathematics, Indian Institute of Technology Patna. He works mainly on the optimal accurate numerical analysis of singularly perturbed differential equations and approximations of fractional integro differential equations. Before joining to IIT Patna, he was an Einstein Foundation Fellow at Institute fur Mathematik, Technische Universitat Berlin, Germany, where he worked with the group of Prof. Volker Mehrmann. He was also a visiting faculty at IISER Bhopal and NBHM Fellow at Indian Institute of Science Bangalore. He did his master from IIT Bombay and doctorate from IIT Guwahati. At present, he has plenty of international MathScinet and SCI listed publications and single author publications. He is also receipt of several awards, including Young Scientist Award at 100th Indian Science Congress and also DAAD Research Ambassador of Germany. He became a Top 2% Scientists among the World, published by Stanford University, USA, in two consecutive years 2021, 2022

Title: Fractional h-Discrete Calculus. Abstract: In this talk, we introduce basic definitions and some recent results in fractional h-discrete calculus. We use backward difference operator and define Riemann-Liouville fractional operators in discrete time. Some of the recent developments in the theory include monotonicity, convexity, initial value problems, and controllability. After giving a brief survey on these developments, we close the talk with several applications in medical sciences.
Ferhan Merdivenci Atici received the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Mathematics from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln in 1993 and 1995, respectively. She has been the University Distinguished Professor at the Department of Mathematics of Western Kentucky University since 2018. From 1996 to 1999, she was an Assistant Professor at the Department of Mathematics of Ege University, where she was an Associate Professor from 1999 to 2002. Since 2003, she has worked at the Department of Mathematics of Western Kentucky University. She has been the founder and faculty advisor for the WKU American Mathematical Society (AMS) Student Chapter since 2015. Professor Ferhan Merdivenci Atici directed more than nine senior projects and has won several prizes and awards, e.g. University Distinguished Professor, Women in Science and Engineering Award, etc. She has been the Scientific Committee member, invited speaker and organizer at more than 17 conferences and meetings and is the Editor and Associate Editor for 11 international academic journals. Professor Ferhan Merdivenci Atici does research in the fields of Analysis and Applied Mathematics, including difference equations, differential equations, calculus on time scales, dynamic equations and their applications to economics, fractional calculus and their applications to medical sciences.

Gennaro Infante is an Associate Professor within the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at University of Calabria since April 2018. He obtained a Doctoral Degree in 2001 from the University of Glasgow, under the direction of Prof. J.R.L. Webb. In the period 2001-2018 he held the positions of research fellow and assistant professor within the Department of Mathematics at the University of Calabria. He is a member of the Edinburgh Mathematical Society, the European Mathematical Society, the Unione Matematica Italiana and the London Mathematical Society. He authored or co-authored more than 80 manuscripts. He has attended or organized more than 40 national and international scientific conferences. He is Editor and Associate Editor for several international journals. His research interests are in nonlinear functional analysis and differential equations. In particular he has been working on: boundary value problems for ODEs and PDEs, theory and applications of fixed point theory, theory and applications of A-proper maps and nonlinear spectral theory.

Title: Explicit solutions and stability for three-dimensional water waves in two-layer flows. Abstract: We present explicit solutions in the setting of Eulerian framework to the three-dimensional nonlinear water waves in two-layer flows. These solutions admit vertical structure and non-constant vorticity vectors. We consider two-layer flows whose density depends on the depth. The free surface and the internal surface are determined by functional analytic approaches. Moreover, we present a detailed stability analysis for these solutions by means of a Wentzel-Kramers-Brillouin ansatz and a well-known Lyapunov-type stability criterion for linear planar systems.
Jifeng Chu received his Ph.D. degree from Tsinghua University. He is Full Professor at the Department of Mathematics of Shanghai Normal University since 2016. He has worked at Hohai University from 2004 to 2016 and was promoted as a Full Professor at the College of Science of Hohai University in 2011. Professor Jifeng Chu is working on the theory of water waves and the eigenvalue theory of linear periodic systems, the stability theory of conservative systems. He has published more than 80 papers in international academic journals and presided over six scientific research projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He has won the “New Century Excellent Talents Support Program” of the Ministry of Education in 2009, “333 High-level Talent Training Project” of Jiangsu Province in 2011, Alexander von Humboldt Foundation Research Fellowship in 2013 and “Huo Yingdong University Young Teacher Award” of the Ministry of Education in 2014, the seventh “Qin Yuanxun Mathematics Award” in 2015.

Title: Existence uniqueness results for a class of Nonlinear Singular Boundary Value Problems. Abstract: Singular nonlinear boundary value problems are interesting due to presence of nonlinearity and singularity. It can model several real-life problems, heat conduction model in human head, theory of thermal explosions, stellar structure and electro-hydrodynamics etc. Due to strange behavior of solutions and several applications it still attracts research and has long history. In this talk we focus on existence uniqueness results based on monotone iterative technique in the presence of upper and lower solutions.
Amit Kumar Verma received his Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur in 2009. He is currently an Associate Professor at the Department of Mathematics of Indian Institute of Technology Patna. He was an Assistant Professor at Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani (BITS Pilani) from 2009 to 2015. From 2015 to 2022, he was an Assistant Professor at the Department of Mathematics of Indian Institute of Technology Patna. He is the member of Indian Mathematical Society (IMS) and member of Bharat Ganita Parishad (BGP). Dr. Amit Kumar Verma has published more than 60 research papers in international peer-reviewed journals. He was invited to give talks or chaired sessions at 37 national and international meetings and conferences. His academic interests include nonlinear singular boundary value problems, epitaxial growth problems, non-standard finite difference schemes, numerical solutions of nonlinear partial differential equations, theory and applications of wavelets and integral transforms.

Title: Functional interpolation: what is it? Abstract: This talk summarizes what analytical Functional Interpolation (FI) is and presents some of its applications. FI derives analytical expressions with embedded constraints, expressions describing all possible functions satisfying a set of constraints. This new mathematical framework has been extended to multivariate domains and to a wide class of constraints, including points, functions, fractional derivatives/integrals, limits, component, and any linear combination of them. Applications are found in constrained optimization problems as these functionals collapse the whole search space to just the solutions space fully satisfying the constraints. This way, the solutions are then obtained with more simple, fast, robust, and accurate methods. These problems include differential equations, homotopy continuation, calculus of variations, etc. This talk summarizes how to derive these analytical functionals, shows how to use them to solve some practical problems, and compares the proposed approaches with the current state-of-the-art approaches.
Daniele Mortari is a Professor of Aerospace Engineering at Texas A&M University, working in the field of attitude and position estimation, satellite constellation design, sensor data processing, and various topic in linear algebra and numerical algorithms. He has taught at the School of Aerospace Engineering of the University of Rome, and at Electronic Engineering of the University of Perugia. He received his doctorate degree in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Rome. He has been widely recognized for his work, including receiving best paper Award from AAS/AIAA and from journal Mathematics, three NASA’s Group Achievement Awards, the 2007 IEEE Judith A. Resnik Award, and the 2016 AAS Dirk Brouwer Award. He has published more than 120 journal articles, 240 conference papers, and delivered more than 100 invited seminars. He is a Member of the International Academy of Astronautics, IEEE, AAIA, and AAS Fellow, AIAA Associate Fellow, Honorary Member of IEEE-AESS Space System Technical Panel, and former IEEE Distinguish Speaker. He is Editor-in-Chief of section Functional Interpolation of the Journal Mathematics.

Title: The AI Mathematician Abstract: We report and summarize some of the recent experiments in machine-learning of various structures from different fields of mathematics, ranging from the string landscape, to geometry, to representation theory, to combinatorics, to number theory. We speculate on a hierarchy of inherent difficulty and where string theoretic problems tend to reside. In due course, we address the tantalizing question of how AI helps doing pure mathematics.
Prof. Yang-Hui He is a Fellow at the London Institute for Mathematical Sciences, Professor of Mathematics at City, University of London, Lecturer in mathematics at Merton College, Oxford, and Chang-Jiang Chair of physics at Nankai University in China. He obtained his BA at Princeton, where he graduated summa cum laude and was awarded the Shenstone Prize and Kusaka Prize. He did his MA at Cambridge (Distinction, Tripos) and earned his PhD at MIT. After a postdoc at the University of Pennsylvania, Yang joined Oxford University as the FitzJames Fellow and an STFC Advanced Fellow. He works at the interface of string theory, algebraic and combinatorial geometry, and machine learning. Outside research, Yang has played the violin for the Princeton Symphony Orchestra and sung as a tenor for the chapel choirs of St Catherine’s, Cambridge and Merton, Oxford.

Title: On Inferring Syntax and Semantics of Domain-Specific Languages. Abstract: This talk describes a research work on Semantic Inference, which can be regarded as an extension of Grammar Inference. The main task of Grammar Inference is to induce a grammatical structure from a set of positive samples (programs), which can sometimes also be accompanied by a set of negative samples. Successfully applying Grammar Inference can result only in identifying the correct syntax of a language. With the Semantic Inference, a further step is realised, namely, towards inducing language semantics. When syntax and semantics can be inferred, a complete compiler/interpreter can be generated solely from samples. Moreover, from a formal specification, many other tools (editor, compiler, debugger, test engine) can be generated automatically. To solve the problem of Semantic Inference successfully, the Genetic Programming approach was employed, which is a population-based evolutionary search. The first results were encouraging, and we were able to infer S-attributed, L-attributed and Absolutely Non-circular Attribute Grammars.
Marjan Mernik received the MSc and PhD degrees in Computer Science from the University of Maribor in 1994 and 1998, respectively. He is currently a professor at the University of Maribor, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. He was a visiting professor at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, Department of Computer and Information Sciences. His research interests include programming languages, compilers, domain-specific (modeling) languages, grammar-based systems, grammatical inference, and evolutionary computations. He is a member of the IEEE, ACM, and EAPLS. He is being named a Highly Cited Researcher for years 2017 and 2018.

Manuel de León (1953, Zamora) is a Research Professor at the Higher Research Council (CSIC) and has worked mainly in the field of Differential Geometry and its applications to Mechanics and Mechanical Physics. He is also director of the Institute of Mathematical Sciences, a mixed research center of the CSIC and three Madrid universities: the Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM), the Carlos III University of Madrid (UC3M), and the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM). He has held the position since the center was created in 2007 and is the principal investigator of the project presented to the Severo Ochoa Program which, since 2011, has distinguished the ICMAT as one of the best centers in all of Spain.

Antonio Di Crescenzo, Full Professor of Probability and Mathematical Statistics at the University of Salerno, received his degree in Information Science in 1988 from University of Salerno, and Ph.D. degree in Applied Mathematics and Informatics in 1996 from University of Naples Federico II. He has served as Research Associate at the University of Naples Federico II (1991–1998) and Associate Professor firstly at the University of Basilicata, Potenza (1998–2001) followed by the University of Salerno (2001–2018). He has published more than 90 research papers in probability and stochastic models. He co-organized several international meetings and participated in more than 60 international scientific meetings, especially regarding applications of probability. His research interests include stochastic modeling, theory and simulation of stochastic processes with applications to biomathematics, queueing systems, reliability theory, aging notions, and information measures.

Sergei Petrovski is an applied mathematician with thirty years of research experience in mathematical ecology and ecological modelling. His research spans across a broad variety of problems in ecology and population dynamics, with a particular emphasis on modelling complex multiscale ecological, agro-ecological and socio-ecological systems. Some of his older results on ecological pattern formation and biological invasion modelling have become textbook material. His recent research on the effect of global warming on atmospheric oxygen, where he discovered a new type of ecological catastrophe, was highlighted by the media around the world. He published four books and more than 130 papers in peer-reviewed journals. He currently holds the position of Chair in Applied Mathematics at the University of Leicester (UK). He is also the founder and the scientific coordinator of the Models in Population Dynamics and Ecology (MPDE) conference series.

Juan Ramón Torregrosa Sánchez, Dr., has a Bachelor in Mathematical Sciences (Universitat de Valencia) and obtained his PhD (1990, Universitat de Valencia) defending his thesis “Algunas propiedades geometricas uniformes y no uniformes de un espacio de Banach.” He is Full Professor of Applied Mathematics in the Institute for Multidisciplinary Mathematics of the Polytechnical University of Valencia. He published several papers about locally convex spaces and Banach spaces in the 1990s. Afterwards, he launched new research projects in linear algebra, matrix analysis, and combinatorics. He has supervised several PhD theses on these topics. His current research is in numerical analysis. He focuses on different problems related to the solution of nonlinear equations and systems, matrix equations, and dynamical analysis of rational functions involved in iterative methods. He has published more than 200 papers in JCR journals and he also has presented numerous communications in international conferences.

Adolfo Ballester-Bolinches has been a university professor in the area of Algebra at the Facultat de Matemàtiques de la UV since 1986. He graduated with the extraordinary prize and first national prize in Mathematical Sciences (1986) and doctor with the extraordinary prize (1989) in Mathematical Sciences from the University of Valencia (UV). Professor Ballester-Bolinches participated uninterruptedly in research projects financed by national and international public organizations since 1988 and since 2004 as principal investigator or coordinator of coordinated projects. He has published more than 270 scientific articles in prestigious international journals, of which approximately ninety-five percent appear in the "Mathematics" list of the "Journal of Citation Reports Science Edition" and eighty percent appear in the first and second third of the aforementioned list. Also, he has published two books. Now he is an advisor (referee) of more than 85 scientific journals, a member of the editorial committee of 13 journals and reviewer of «Mathematical Reviews» and «Zentralblatt MATH». Professor Ballester-Bolinches has made numerous visits to several foreign universities within the framework of collaborative projects, in which he has taught various postgraduate courses and carried out research tasks. He was a plenary speaker at many international conferences on Group Theory and its Applications. Now he serves as an advisor to Spanish and foreign project evaluation agencies and has been an evaluator of postgraduate works and doctoral theses at various universities. Until now, he has supervised 14 doctoral theses and 9 master's theses/third-year research papers.

Submissions should be fulfilled by authors online by registering with www.sciforum.net, and using the "New Submission" function once logged into the system. Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere.
Note: Registrations with academic institutional email addresses will be prioritized, especially for the corresponding author. Please submit abstracts using an institutional email address.
- Scholars interested in participating in the conference can submit their abstract (approximately 200–300 words) online to this website until 31 January 2023.
- The Conference Committee will notify the acceptance of the abstract by 14 February 2023.
- In the case of acceptance, authors will be asked to submit their manuscript (short proceedings papers, 3-6 pages) before 15 March 2023. Optionally, authors of accepted abstracts will be able to submit a poster, a slides presentation (in PDF form) and/or a short video presentation (max. 3–5minutes) as supporting material of the paper. Authors will receive a notification about the acceptance of their papers by 14 February 2023.
- The manuscripts and presentations will be available on sciforum.net for discussion and rating at the time of the conference, from 1 to 15 May 2023.
- All submissions will be reviewed using the powerful text comparison tool iThenticate. This procedure aims to prevent scholarly and professional plagiarism. Submissions will then be peer-reviewed by conference committees based on originality/novelty, quality of presentation, scientific soundness, interest to the readers, overall merit and English level. After the conference, all submissions will be published on sciforum.net, and only the proceeding paper (3-6 pages) will be published in the MDPI Computer Sciences & Mathematics Forum journal (ISSN 2813-0324).

Before publication, Computer Sciences & Mathematics Forum journal will check the plagiarism issue again. Manuscripts for the Proceedings Special Issue must be organized as follows:

Formatting / Style: The paper style of the Journal Computer Sciences & Mathematics Forum should be followed. You may download the template file to prepare your paper. Accepted file formats are:
MS Word: Manuscript prepared in MS Word must be converted into a single file before submission. When preparing manuscripts in MS Word, the IOCMA2023 Microsoft Word template file (see download below) must be used. Please do not insert any graphics (schemes, figures, etc.) into a movable frame which can superimpose the text and make the layout very difficult.
LaTeX: Manuscripts prepared in LaTeX must be collated into one ZIP folder (include all source files and images, so that the Conference Secretariat can recompile the submitted PDF). When preparing manuscripts in LaTeX, please use the IOCMA2023 LaTeX template files.

Authors List and Affiliation Format: Authors' full first and last names must be given. Abbreviated middle name can be added. For papers written by various contributors a corresponding author must be designated. The PubMed/MEDLINE format is used for affiliations: complete street address information including city, zip code, state/province, country, and email address should be added. All authors who contributed significantly to the manuscript (including writing a section) should be listed on the first page of the manuscript, below the title of the article. Other parties, who provided only minor contributions, should be listed under Acknowledgments only. A minor contribution might be a discussion with the author, reading through the draft of the manuscript, or performing English corrections.

Figures, Schemes and Tables: Authors are encouraged to prepare figures and schemes in color. Full color graphics will be published free of charge. Figure and schemes must be numbered (Figure 1, Scheme I, Figure 2, Scheme II, etc.) and a explanatory title must be added. Tables should be inserted into the main text, and numbers and titles for all tables supplied. All table columns should have an explanatory heading. Please supply legends for all figures, schemes and tables. The legends should be prepared as a separate paragraph of the main text and placed in the main text before a table, a figure or a scheme.

References: The full titles and the cited papers must be given. Reference numbers should be placed in square brackets [ ], and placed before the punctuation; for example [4] or [1–3], and all the references should be listed separately and as the last section at the end of the manuscript.

Submission: Manuscripts should be submitted online at IOCMA2023.sciforum.net by registering and logging in to this website.
Authors are encouraged to prepare a presentation in PowerPoint or a similar software, to be displayed online along with the manuscript. Slides can be prepared the same way as for any traditional conference. They should be converted to PDF format before submission.
Video Presentations
Authors are requested to submit video presentations to accompany their extended submissions. The video should be no longer than 3–5 minutes and prepared with one of the following formats: .mp4/.webm/.ogg (max size: 250Mb). It should be submitted with the full manuscript before 15 March 2023 (full submission deadline).
The accepted submissions will be presented on the conference’s submission page IOCMA2023, which will be opened after the conference starts.
Moreover, authors that submitted presentations will have the chance to be invited to hold a presentation in the live session (15 mins). The live-streaming platform we use is Zoom; click here to check the recordings of the live sessions of IOCA-2022. This is a unique way of presenting your paper and discussing it with peers from all around the world.
Note: Exhibitors who attend/register for the webinar will be considered to have agreed for their images and presentation content to be publicly released.
Posters
Posters will be available on the conference website during and after the event. Similar to papers presented at the conference, participants will be able to ask questions and comment on the posters. Posters can be presented without an accompanying proceedings paper. However, they will not be added to the proceedings of the conference.
After acceptance, please upload a copy of the proceedings/abstract as a PDF and Word document (in the corresponding fields) and upload a PDF of the poster in the field "Presentation PDF (optional)".
- The poster should be in PDF format.
- The minimum size for images is 148 mm × 210 mm (horizontal × vertical) at 300 dpi.
- The content of the poster should be a comprehensive presentation of your accepted submission.
- No copyright issues with any elements in the poster.
