MDPI is launching a special webinar to commemorate the International Day of Older Persons, encouraging researchers to share their knowledge to raise awareness about the challenges and opportunities of ageing.
Population ageing is one of the most significant social transformations of the 21st century, with implications for nearly all sectors of society. To recognise the contributions of older persons and to highlight the importance of ensuring dignity, inclusion, and well-being in later life, the UN has designated 1st October as the International Day of Older Persons. This day calls for collective action to build a more inclusive and age-friendly future.
