On Thursday 1st September 2022 , MDPI and the Journal Technologies organized the 1st Webinar on Technologies entitled “ Latest Innovations in Materials, Processing and Sustainable/Green Technologies”. This online seminar was chaired by Professor Dr Manoj Gupta, who was joined by four world-leading scientists including Dr. Hajo Dieringa of MagIC - Magnesium Innovation Center, Germany; Dr. Jutima Simsiriwong of University of North Florida, USA; Prof Anders E. W. Jarfors of Jönköping University, Sweden and Dr Hamidreza Ezatpour of Hakim Sabzevari University, Iran. The presentations detailed productions of nanoparticle-reinforced magnesium alloys using hybrid proceses, impact of process-dependent microstructure and defects on the fatigue resistance of additively-manufactured materials at very high loading frequencies, rheocasting and science and technology in high entropy bas science and technology in high entropy based materials.

The presentations were followed by a Q&A and a discussion, moderated by the Chair. The webinar was offered via Zoom and required registration to attend. The full recording can be found here on Sciforum website.
