Instructions for Authors
We seek contributions to policy-relevant, change-oriented, and transdisciplinary research and debates from science and technology, the life sciences, and the social sciences across the three thematic areas and sustainability dimensions below:

For panel proposals:
Submit a 300 word abstract in English on the focus and purpose of your panel.
List at least two paper presenters who will participate in your panel.
Indicate which panel would be your first and second choice, referring to the table above (Panel 1 to Panel 9).
Add your name, institutional affiliation, phone number, and email address.
Submit the panel proposal not later than 31 May 2015 to wsf5@mdpi.com. You will be notified by 31 May 2015.

Indicate which thematic area is best suited for your paper (Science, Technology, and Energy; Consumption, Lifestyles, Mobility, and Cities; Economics, Business, and Management)
Submit a 300 word abstract in English, including the focus and contribution to sustainability. If it is an empirical paper, include information about the data and data analysis, as well as the most relevant findings.

You will be invited to submit your paper for publication to EITHER a special issue of Sustainability OR the edited book series Frontiers in Sustainability. Manuscripts are due on 31 December 2015.

Special issue relating to this conference in the journal Sustainability.
Sustainability is indexed by the Science Citation Index Expanded and the Social Sciences Citation Index (Web of Science) and has an Impact Factor of 1.077 (Journal Citations Reports, 2013).
Three edited books, one for each of the three thematic areas, of a new book series entitled Frontiers in Sustainability (ISSN 2409-9309). A DOI number will be registered for each paper published in the edited books.
All Panel abstracts, paper abstracts, posters and presentations will be available online in Open Access on Sciforum.net.
