Instructions for Authors
Abstract Submission
Create an account on Sciforum if you do not have one and then click on the "Submit Abstract" at the top of this webpage.
Note: The email address used for registration must match the email address used for submission.
Abstract Instructions
The submission must be in Chinese. An English version of the abstract is optional, and there is no word limit.
Contribution Type
You will be asked to select the contribution type (oral contribution, poster contribution, or both) during the submission process. However, it is subject to change according to the decision of the conference chair and the scientific committee.
● Oral Presentation
Each oral presentation is allocated 15 minutes in total, including the presentation and Q&A. The presentation slides and the presentation language should be in Chinese. Presenters are kindly requested to prepare their slides using PowerPoint or similar software. A link for uploading the slides will be provided prior to the conference.
● Poster Presentation
Each presenter will be provided with a vertical poster board with dimensions of 80 cm × 140 cm. Posters for this conference will be uniformly printed by the organizing committee. Authors are required to upload the electronic version of the poster, prepared according to the specified dimensions, to the system by 12:00 noon on November 12, or send it to the conference email address at mcst2025@mdpi.com
Authors who fail to submit their posters by the deadline will need to prepare and bring their own roll-up (stand) poster.
Deadlines
The deadline for online abstract submission is Thursday, 16 October 2025, and the deadline for registration of covering authors is Tuesday, 9 September 2025.
You will be notified by Wedneday, 5 November 2025 regarding the the acceptance. Your abstract will be withdrawn if your registration is not completed by this date.

Participation to the conference is considered final only once the registration fees have been paid. Please note that, in order to finalize the scientific program in due time, at least one registration by anyone of the authors, denoted as Covering Author, is required to cover the presentation and publication of any accepted abstract. Covering Author registration deadline is 5 November 2025.

Materials Proceeding Paper Publication
You are welcome to submit a proceeding paper (4-8 pages) to Materials Proceedings journal (ISSN 2673-4605) after the conference. Publication of the proceedings will be free of charge. The proceeding paper will be open for submissions after the conference and closed on 7 January 2026.
Authors are asked to disclose that it is a proceeding paper of the MCST 2025 conference paper in their cover letter. Carefully read the rules outlined in the 'Instructions for Authors' on the journal’s website and ensure that your submission adheres to these guidelines.
