Abstract: The synthesis of conducting polyaniline in highly viscous carbohydrate gel was presented. Polyaniline (PANI) was synthesized chemically by means of oxidative polymerisation of ammonium persulfate. The process was conducted in waxy maize starch which contain only branched fraction i.e. amylopectin. Obtained materials were investigated according to its properties.
