Yan Chen

Yan Chen is currently a professor at Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. She received her Ph.D. degree in Bioengineering from the California Institute of Technology in 2008, and she worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Princeton University from 2009 to 2010. Her research interests are microfluidics for biomedical applications and advanced nanofabrication technologies. She has authored more than 30 peer-reviewed journal articles on lab-on-a-chip technology, ASC nano, biosensors and bioelectronics, etc. In recent years, her scientific interests have focused on liquid biopsy, and her ongoing projects involve the development of innovative microfluidic systems for high throughput isolation and the analysis of liquid biopsy biomarkers.
