Zurich

Zurich is Switzerland’s largest city and a major cultural and economic hub. Located at the tip of Lake Zurich and surrounded by gentle hills, it has a history dating back to Roman times, when it was known as Turicum. Its Old Town (Altstadt) reflects centuries of growth, with medieval lanes, guild houses, and notable churches such as the Grossmünster and Fraumünster.

Modern Zurich blends historic charm with contemporary architecture, lakeside promenades, and creative districts like Zurich-West. The city offers an exceptional quality of life, with numerous museums, restaurants, and outdoor spaces. Highly walkable and supported by an efficient network of trams, buses, boats, and trains, Zurich is easy to explore and well connected to the surrounding region.

The conference will take place at Mama Shelter at Schulstrasse 44, 8050 Zurich, right next to the Oerlikon railway station.

Mama Shelter offers a distinctive and welcoming setting that combines contemporary design, inclusivity, quality cuisine, and a relaxed, convivial atmosphere. Founded by Serge Trigano and his sons Jérémie and Benjamin, Mama Shelter was established in 2008 with the opening of its first location in Paris’ 20th arrondissement, introducing an innovative concept of an urban refuge that sought to redefine the traditional hospitality experience.

Since its founding in 2008, Mama Shelter has placed creative collaboration, distinctive design, and convivial hospitality at the heart of its identity. Serge, Jérémie, and Benjamin Trigano have collaborated with renowned designers, including Dion & Arles and Thierry Gaugain, as well as talented chefs and other creative partners, to develop Mama Shelter’s distinctive approach to hospitality.
