Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to announce the 3rd International Online Conference on Medicine—Cutting-Edge Surgical Techniques and Outcomes (IOCMD2026), which will take place online from 2 to 4 December 2026.

Conference Overview:
This conference aims to bring together leading surgeons, clinicians, and researchers to discuss the latest advances, challenges, and innovations in surgical practice. This online event provides a dynamic platform for presenting new techniques, sharing clinical experiences, and exploring emerging technologies such as minimally invasive procedures, robotics, digital surgery, and perioperative care. By fostering interdisciplinary dialogue and global collaboration, the conference seeks to promote evidence-based solutions and improve surgical outcomes across diverse medical fields. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in keynote lectures, scientific presentations, and interactive discussions, contributing to the advancement of modern surgical science.

Key Themes: All clinical medicine-related scientists, researchers, and individuals are welcome to attend this event and share their findings pertaining, but not limited, to the following general and related themes:

Conference Format: All submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the conference committee. Following the conference, authors are welcome to submit a proceedings paper, where the publication fee will be waived. Selected contributions will be invited for submission to the journal Medicina (ISSN: 1648-9144; Impact Factor: 2.9), which ranks Q1 (78/332 in the Medicine, General & Internal category), CiteScore in 2024 (4.6), with a 20% discount on the publication fee.

Prof. Dr. Simone Ferrero

Azienda Ospedaliera Metropolitana (AOM), Genova, Italy, Department of Neurosciences, Rehabilitation, Ophthalmology, Genetics, Maternal and Child Health (DiNOGMI), University of Genova, Genova, Italy;
Professor Simone Ferrero obtained his Degree in Medicine and completed his Gynecology and Obstetrics training at the University of Genoa, Italy. He received his Ph.D. at the Queen Mary University of London, performing studies on the proteomic analysis of peritoneal fluid of women with endometriosis. Currently, he is an Associate Professor of Gynecology and Obstetrics at the University of Genoa. Professor Ferrero published over 100 peer-review articles on endometriosis, had several presentations in national and international meetings, and edited two books on endometriosis. He has extensive experience in the ultrasonographic and radiological diagnosis, hormonal and laparoscopic treatment of endometriosis. Keynote Presentation on: Minimally Invasive and Robotic Surgery in the Treatment of Cervical Cancer.

Prof. Dr. Žilvinas  Dambrauskas

Prof. Dr. Andy Petroianu

Department of Surgery, Federal University of Minas Gerais, Brazil;
Professor Andy Petroianu has received his MD in 1976, PhD in Surgery in 1985 and PhD in Physiology and Pharmacology, Professor of the Department of Surgery of the School of Medicine in the Federal University of Minas Gerais, Free Docent of the Federal University of São Paulo State, Free Docent of the University of São Paulo State and Head of the Service of General Surgery at the Santa Casa Hospital in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. He is member of the National Council of Science and Technology in Brazil, and of the National Post-graduate Council in Brazil and member of the Academy of Medicine of Minas Gerais. He has received 112 awards and honors, such as Honor Citizen of Belo Horizonte city, Best Researcher of the National Academy of Medicine, Outstanding Researcher of the Academy of Medicine of Minas Gerais, Best Researcher and also Best Surgeon of the Brazilian College of Surgeons, etc. He is editorial and reviewer member of 109 journals of Medicine. He is author of 556 research articles, 25 books, 178 book chapters and more than 3500 presentations in Medical and Research Meetings.

Dr. Joshua De Leon

Research Institute and Department of Medicine, NYU Winthrop Hospital, NY, USA;
Dr. Joshua De Leon is a cardiologist specializing in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of cardiovascular disease, with expertise in heart failure, coronary artery disease, arrhythmias, lipid disorders, and metabolic conditions. His clinical practice combines patient-centered care with advanced cardiovascular imaging and interventional procedures. Dr. De Leon has served as a site investigator for more than 20 clinical trials focused on acute coronary syndromes and has conducted research on inflammatory biomarkers, cholesterol metabolism, and the cardiovascular complications of diabetes. He is a member of several leading professional organizations, including the American College of Cardiology and the American Heart Association, and has been recognized among Castle Connolly's Top Doctors in the New York metropolitan area.

Dr. Allison B. Reiss

New York University Long Island School of Medicine, Mineola, New York, USA;
Allison B. Reiss, M.D. is an internal medicine physician, educator and molecular biologist who studies the immune and inflammatory mechanisms that promote the development of Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of cognitive impairment. Her research is directed toward finding effective therapies for these disease states. Dr. Reiss is Head of The Inflammation Laboratory and Associate Professor of Medicine at NYU Grossman Long Island School of Medicine. She received her M.D. from the State University of New York - Downstate College of Medicine and completed her Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey - Rutgers. She is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Reiss is a member of the Medical, Scientific & Memory Screening Advisory Board of the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America. She is well-published in medical and scientific journals and has chaired symposia at national and international conferences. Dr. Reiss is Section Editor-in-Chief of Neurology for Medicina and is on the editorial board of the Journal of Investigative Medicine and Reviews in Cardiovascular Medicine. Dr. Reiss has a strong passion for community outreach and is dedicated to improving healthcare, especially for older populations.
