Frequently Asked Questions
Frequently Asked Questions

Abstract Submission

Q1. Can I submit only an abstract without a full paper?

A1. Yes. You may participate in and present at the conference by submitting only an abstract; a full paper is not required. For participants wishing to extend their work, we also offer opportunities to submit conference proceedings or develop a full paper for publication after the event. For more details, please visit Publication Opportunities.

Review and Acceptance

Q2. How long does it take to receive a decision after submitting an abstract?

A2. The official notification deadline is 16 October 2026. However, we will do our best to notify you of the decision earlier by email.

Q3. Why was I accepted for a poster presentation when I selected an oral presentation?

A3. Oral presentation slots are limited within each session, and the final decision is made by the Scientific Organising Committee. If a submission is not selected for an oral presentation, it may instead be accepted as a poster presentation. Please note that presentation preference (“oral” or “poster”) is taken into account but does not determine acceptance; all abstracts are evaluated primarily on their quality.

Presentation Formats and Uploads

Q4. When and how can I upload my poster or oral presentation slides?

A4. Once an abstract has been accepted, Submitting author, Corresponding author or, Presenting author may upload the poster or oral presentation via the following link: https://sciforum.net/profile/dashboard/submissions?tab=0. All files must be submitted in PDF format. If the contribution has already been published online, the upload option may no longer be available. In that case, please send your presentation to iocpr2026@mdpi.com , and we will upload it on your behalf.

Registration, Participation and Programme

Q5. When will the conference programme be available, and what is the typical schedule?

  • Morning Session: 09:00–12:00;
  • Afternoon Session: 14:00–17:00.

We will keep you informed by email as further details become available.

Q6. Are co-authors listed in the programme?

A6. The conference programme lists only presenters. Co-authors are included in the Conference Abstract Book.

Q7. Do I need to register as a presenter?

A7. Presenters do not need to register under a separate “presenter” category; however, all participants, including presenters, must register for the conference in order to access the Abstract Book, presentations, and recordings.

Q8. If co-authors wish to view posters and presentations, do they need to register?

A8. Yes. Access to posters and presentations is restricted to registered participants only.

Conference Access and Recordings

Q9. How do I access the online conference, and when will the access links be sent?

A9. All registered participants will receive a registration confirmation. Access instructions, including Zoom links for the live sessions, will be sent by email a week before the conference dates (9-11 December 2026). Please also check your spam or junk folder. If you still have not received the email 3 days before the conference, kindly contact iocpr2026@mdpi.com.
Q10. Will the live sessions be recorded, and can I request that my presentation be excluded from the recording?

A10. Yes. The live sessions will be recorded and subsequently made available on the conference webpage. If you would prefer your presentation not to be included in the recording, please inform us in advance.

Q11. I cannot attend the live event, although I have registered. Will I still be able to access the sessions?

A11. Yes. Your registration for the live online event includes access to recordings of talks and poster presentations. The recordings will be available on the conference website after the event.

Certificates

Q12. Will my certificate indicate the type of presentation (e.g., online oral presentation or poster)?

A12. Certificates are issued in the following two categories: attendance certificates and presentation certificates. Poster presentation certificates are awarded to authors whose abstracts have been accepted and posters have been uploaded. Oral presentation certificates are awarded to presenters who deliver their talks during the live conference sessions. All registered participants who attend the live sessions on 9-11 December will receive a certificate of attendance.

Q13. When will I receive my certificate, and how can I access it?

A13. Certificates of attendance will be made available to registrants via their Sciforum profile after the conference. To access your certificate, please log in to your account at sciforum.net and navigate to “My Certificates”.
