Ms. Jayne Marks
Chief Executive Officer, Maverick Publishing Consultants
Jayne Marks has spent her career working in academic publishing, focusing mainly on journals and supporting societies with their publishing programs. She has worked in the UK, for Nature Publishing Group, and in the US for Sage and Wolters Kluwer. Jayne is now the CEO of Maverick Publishing Consultants which focuses on providing a wide range of services to all kinds of stakeholders in scholarly publishing. Jayne also serves on the board of Canadian Science Publishers and The Company of Biologists.
Dr. Constanze Schelhorn Dr. Constanze Schelhorn
Chief Publishing Officer, MDPI
Dr. Constanze Schelhorn is Chief Publishing Officer at MDPI, where she provides strategic leadership, governance, and organizational direction across the company's publishing activites. Constanze joined MDPI in 2016 and has held a range of editorial and publishing leadership roles. Appointed Publisher in 2019, she focused on establishing collaborations with learned societies and served as Project Manager for MDPI's Journal and Article Management Systems (JAMS), while also supporting the Board of Scientific Officers as Scientific Officer for Physical Sciences until 2022. Since 2023, she has served as Head of Indexing and later Head of Publishing before being appointed CPO.

Head of Business Development & US Operations Manager, MDPI
Robert (Bob) Vrooman is the Head of Buisness Development at MDPI, where he leads the support of US-based researchers, partnerships, editioral operations, and academic engagement. Prior to joining MDPI, Bob managed editorial and acquistion operations at Sage Publications. His time at MDPI has shaped his focus on building relationships with societies working across commercial and editorial operations.
