Access:
- Take the MRT train Circle Line (Yellow Line) to the "One-North (CC22)" stop and then walk 14 minutes to UTown.
- Take the MRT train East–West Line (Green Line) or Circle Line (Yellow Line) to the ‘Buona Vista (CC22/ EW21)’ stop and then walk 23 minutes to UTown.
- Take the Circle Line (Yellow Line) to ‘Kent Rigde’ stop and board the NUS Internal Bus Shuttle (D2) for 5 stops and alight at UTown.
- Take bus line 196 and alight at University Town station (Station No. 19059) and then walk 5–8 minutes to UTown.
- Take bus lines 96 or 183 and alight at Yale-NUS College station (Station No. 17099) and then walk 8–10 minutes to UTown.
TRAVEL
By Plane
Singapore is easily accessible by air through Changi Airport (SIN), consistently ranked among the world's best airports.
Upon arriving at Singapore Changi Airport, attendees can easily access NUS UTown through the following transport options.
By Mass Rapid Transit (MRT): Take the MRT's East–West Line (Green Line) from Changi Airport, located between Terminal 2 and Terminal 3. Trains run every 9 minutes during peak hours and 12 minutes during off-peak hours. After two stops, transfer at Tanah Merah Station to the Joo Koon-bound train. Continue to Buona Vista Station, an interchange for the East–West Line and the Circle Line. Transfer to the Circle Line and travel to Kent Ridge Station. From there, use the NUS Internal Bus Shuttle (D2) to reach NUS UTown. For more information on NUS Internal Bus Shuttle, please click here.
By taxi: Taxis are readily available outside the airport terminals, providing a comfortable and convenient way to reach your accommodation and the conference venue. The ride will take about 35 to 50 minutes depending on the traffic. The fare travelling to NUS UTown from Changi airport is around 45 SGD, additional charges may apply. By Private Hire Car: Ride-hailing services such as Grab, Gojek, RYDE, and TADA provide a popular and convenient transport option. To utilize these services, you may download the applications on your phone for better access. Fares may fluctuate depending on commuter demand or peak hours.

Transportation Instructions between Changi Airport and Park Avenue Rochester
Via MRT
Take the MRT’s East–West Line (Green Line) from Changi Airport (CG2), located between the airport’s Terminal 2 and Terminal 3. After two stops, alight and transfer at Tanah Merah Station (EW4). Board the Joo Koon-bound train, and after 16 stops, alight at Buona Vista MRT Station (EW21/CC22).
Non-sheltered directions:
Exit Buona Vista MRT Station via EXIT C and take a 5-minute walk along Noth Buona Vista Road towards Vista Exchange Green Road. The distance from the MRT station to Park Avenue Rochester is approximately 350m.
In case of wet weather, you could consider a more sheltered route:
Exit Buona Vista MRT Station via EXIT C and take a 5-minute walk along the sheltered pathway to The Star Vista and Performing Arts Centre. Make your way towards the Centre’s taxi stand and walk across Vista Exchange Green towards Rochester Mall. The mall has a sheltered and connected walkway to the hotel, Park Avenue Rochester.
By Taxi/Private Hire Vehicle (PHV)
Depending on traffic conditions, a taxi/PHV from Changi Airport to Park Avenue Rochester would take an estimated time of 45 to 60 minutes and cost approximately SGD 25-40.
