• Posters can be set up on Wednesday (before 15:00) and must be removed by 14:15 on Thursday.

Poster Session B:

• Thursday, 25 June 2026 (16:15 – 16:45, 18:00 – 19:00)

• Friday, 26 June 2026 (11:00 – 11:30)

• Posters can be set up from 16:15 on Thursday afternoon and must be removed by 14:00 on Friday.

Guidelines:

• Please print your poster before the conference and bring it with you. We will not provide on-site printing services or print it for you in advance.

• Posters should not be hung up or taken down during sessions with ongoing presentations. Please do so only during breaks.

• Each presenter will be provided with a vertical poster board. Note that the maximum poster size is limited to A0: 84 x 120 cm / 33 x 47 in (width x height) in vertical orientation (portrait).

The College of Mayor and Aldermen warmly invites participants of ncRNA 2026 to a welcome reception on 24 June 2026, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., in the foyer of the Stadsschouwburg, a beautifully restored theatre celebrated for its elegant architecture and inviting atmosphere.

The reception will be attended by Mr. Bert Cornillie, Alderman, who will greet participants and highlight how ncRNA connects to the vibrant scientific community of Leuven.

Guests can enjoy a selection of local beers, soft drinks, and snacks, providing the perfect chance to unwind, connect with fellow attendees, and soak up the city's charm.

Here's How to Reserve Your Seat:

A seat at the dinner can be reserved for an additional 75 EUR, which can be added during registration. Simply select the dinner option along with your registration category (Academic, Student, etc.). If you have already registered without the dinner, you can register again, choosing only the dinner category. Please indicate any allergies or dietary restrictions in the comment box when registering.

Seating at the dinner is limited, and can be reserved as above on a first-come, first-served basis. Note that onsite registration will not be possible so we encourage participants to reserve their place early before spots run out.

Leuven is exceptionally well connected and easy to reach from within Europe and abroad. Below, you will find some guidance to ensure a smooth journey.

By Plane

The two closest airports are Brussels Airport (BRU) and Charleroi Airport (CRL):

• From Brussels Airport (BRU) (28 km/17 miles away), a direct train will take you to Leuven in 15 minutes

• From Charleroi Airport (CRL) (90 km/56 miles), there is a shuttlebus and train connection which will take you to Leuven in a little over 2 hours.

By Train

High-speed services (Eurostar, TGV, Thalys, ICE) arrive in Brussels or Liège. From Brussels Airport or Brussels-South station, direct trains reach Leuven in 15–25 minutes.

By Bus

International coaches (e.g., Flixbus) connect Leuven with major European cities.

The historic centre of Leuven is largely traffic-free, but parking is available around the ring road (car parks).
