We are delighted to welcome you to the 1st International Online Conference on Clinical Reports (IOCCR 2025), which will be held online and promoted by the open access MDPI journal Reports (ISSN: 2571-841X; IF: 0.8).
This conference offers a platform for doctors, experts, and medical-related practitioners in the field of medical cases, images, and videos in human medicine to engage in an exchange of ideas and share cutting-edge research findings. The conference will encompass diverse facets of clinical medicine, including, but not limited to, the following:

At Tohoku University, I experienced the Great East Japan Earthquake (2011) and also began researching disaster medicine. I have been the editor-in-chief of Reports since 2018.

In 2021, I moved to Kurashiki Central Hospital, Kurashiki, Japan, one of the largest private hospitals in Japan, and leads the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, as the department head.

Filippo Migliorini is Professor at the Department of Life Sciences, Health, and Health Professions of the Link Campus University of Rome. Prof Migliorini graduated with honours (Cum Laude) in Medicine and Surgery from the Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome, presenting a research thesis titled "Study of Joint Biomechanics and Aetiopathogenetic Factors Using Finite Element Analysis", conducted at the Center for Advanced Biomechanics, Beth Israel Deaconess Center, Harvard Medical Teaching School, Boston, USA. Subsequently, he commenced specialist training in Orthopedics and Traumatology at the Department of Orthopedic, Traumatology, and Reconstructive Surgery at the University Hospital of Aachen, Germany. He earned a PhD in Biomechanics from the Faculty of Medicine at RWTH University Aachen, Germany. In May 2022, he was awarded the Venia Legendi, a prestigious academic qualification in the German university system, in Orthopedics and Traumatology at RWTH University Aachen, Germany. Since 2022, he has led the Department of Clinical Orthopedic Research at Eifelklinik St. Brigida in Simmerath, Germany, conducting randomised clinical trials on robotic surgery. Since July 2023, he has been practising as a specialist in Orthopedics and Traumatology at the Regional Hospital of Bolzano, Italy.

Lung Cancer Resection in the Era of Minimally Invasive Surgery: Is Sublobar Resection Always Safe?
Dr. Casiraghi is Deputy Director of the Division of Thoracic Surgery at European Institute of Oncology in Milan and Assistant Professor of the Department of Oncology and Hemato-oncology at the University of Milan, Italy. Since 2008, she worked at European Institute of Oncology in Milan where she became expert in thoracic oncology and minimally invasive techniques such as robotic surgery. She is the PI and co-PI in different projects and working group both for lung cancer, mesothelioma and thymoma treatments, and she is recently focusing her research on microbiome characterization both for the early detection of lung cancer and for more advance stage NSCLC treated with immunotherapy. She is the first author and co-author of many papers in peer reviewed international journals. Dr. Casiraghi is editor and reviewer of international journals. She is actually board member of the Thoracic Domain and chair of the Surgical Oncology task force of EACTS, and member of ESTS Robotic working group and Women in General Thoracic Surgery.

Ryo Naito is an Associate Professor of Department of Cardiovascular Biology and Medicine, Juntendo University, Tokyo, Japan. His research program has three main components: prevention of cardiovascular disease, cardiac rehabilitation, and sleep apnea. He received his MD degree from Juntendo University in 2005 and completed a 2-year residency in Internal Medicine at Toranomon Hospital, Tokyo, Japan. Prof. Pipino has gained high professionalism and experience in: hip and knee replacement surgery; minimally invasive surgery. He has gained consolidated experience in the design and management of clinical trials and in the management of research projects in the field of lower limb orthopedic pathology and new prosthetic implants. He paid particular attention to the management of human resources assigned to the competent structure in the use of Clinical Governance tools and in the implementation of the most modern methods in compliance with the guidelines and principles of Evidence Based Medicine. Creator of both innovative instruments and surgical techniques for joint reconstruction, in particular, both knee prostheses and new cartilage transplant techniques, currently the knee with particular attention is dedicated to sports pathologies.

Beyond her clinical practice, Dr Schäfer is a key scientist at the research of the Research Department of Clinical Orthopaedics at the Eifelklinik St. Brigida in Simmerath, Germany. Her scientific interests lie in robotic arthroplasty, committed to advancing the integration of cutting-edge surgical technologies in clinical practice. Dr Schäfer is author of 30 publications on musculoskeletal medicine in peer-reviewed PubMed-indexed scientific journals.

Dr. Cocconi is an internationally recognised orthopaedic surgeon whose main area of interest is knee surgery. He worked in different countries Italy, Austria and Germany. As a knee surgeon, his expertise covers the whole range of knee conditions from sports injuries to knee replacement. He wrote several publications regarding knee surgery on international well-recognized journals. His particular interests are anterior cruciate ligament injuries (ACL Injuries) and patellar instability, as well as knee replacement and osteotomies.
T4-Non-small Cell Lung Cancer Invading the Thoracic Aorta: The Role of the Hybrid Operating Room
Francesco Zaraca, MD, PhD, Privatdozent Deputy director of the Department of Vascular and Thoracic Surgery. Central Hospital of Bolzano. South Tyrol. Italy Dr. Francesco Zaraca completed residency in general surgery in 1998 and obtained PhD in Surgical Pathophysiology in 2001. He completed specialization in vascular surgery in 2006 and in thoracic surgery in 2018. In 2012 he became a Privatdozent at the University of Marburg and in 2019 he obtained the Italian national qualification as Associate Professor in Thoracic Surgery. He has contributed significantly to research in several key fields. Co-founder of the PALAS (Prolonged air leak: a survey) study group. His research has also focused on acute ischemia of the lower limbs, on the role of intraoperative completion angiography. Furthermore, he implemented the role of preoperative 3D reconstruction techniques as a co-founder and principal investigator of the PATCHES (Prospective rAndomized sTudy efficaCy of tHree-dimensional rEconstructions Segmentecomy) study group. Dr. Zaraca specializes in open and minimally invasive surgical techniques in vascular and thoracic surgery, further enhancing his ability to address complex clinical challenges.

2. Announcement of oral and poster abstract results: 1̶0̶ ̶J̶a̶n̶u̶a̶r̶y̶ ̶2̶0̶2̶5̶ 10 February 2025. You will be notified of the acceptance of an oral/poster presentation in a separate email.
1. The abstract structure should include the introduction, methods, results, and conclusions sections of about 200–300 words in length.
2. All abstracts should be submitted and presented in clear, publication-ready English with accurate grammar and spelling.
3. You may submit multiple abstracts. However, only one abstract will be selected for oral presentation.
4. The abstracts submitted to this conference must be original and novel, without prior publication in any journals or it will not be accepted to this conference.

1. The submitting author must ensure that all co-authors are aware of the contents of the abstract.
2. Please select only one presenter for each submission. If you would like to change the presenter after submission, please email us accordingly.
Authors are encouraged to prepare a presentation in PowerPoint or similar software, to be displayed online along with the abstract. Slides, if available, will be displayed directly on the website using the proprietary slide viewer at Sciforum.net. Slides can be prepared in exactly the same way as for any traditional conference where research results are presented. Slides should be converted to PDF format prior to submission so that they can be converted for online display.

Publication Opportunities
1. Reports Journal Publication
Participants in this conference are cordially invited to contribute a full manuscript to the conference's Special Issue (will update soon), published in Reports (ISSN 2571-841X, Impact Factor 0.8), with a 20% discount on the publication fee. All submitted papers will undergo MDPI’s standard peer-review procedure. The abstracts should be cited and noted on the first page of the paper.
Please note if you have IOAP/association discounts, conference discounts will be combined with IOAP/association discounts. Conference discounts cannot be combined with reviewer vouchers.
2. Proceeding Paper Publication
All accepted abstracts will be published in the conference report of The 1st International Online Conference on Clinical Reports in Medical Sciences Forum (ISSN: 2673-9992); if you wish to publish an extended proceeding paper (4-8 pages), please submit it to the same journal after the conference.
Authors are asked to disclose that it is a proceeding paper of the IOCCR 2025 conference paper in their cover letter. Carefully read the rules outlined in the 'Instructions for Authors' on the journal’s website and ensure that your submission adheres to these guidelines.
Proceedings submission deadline: 21 March - 5 May 2025.
Manuscripts for the proceedings issue must be formatted as follows:
Title.
Full author names.
Affiliations (including full postal address) and authors' e-mail addresses.
Abstract.
Keywords.
Introduction.
Methods.
Results and Discussion.
Conclusions.
Acknowledgements.
References.

The Best Oral Presentation Awards are given to the paper judged to make the most significant oral contribution to the conference.
The Best Poster Awards are given to the submission judged to make the most significant and interesting poster for the conference.
