Dear researchers,

We are delighted to invite you to the 1st International Online Conference on Technologies (IOCTe2026), organised by the MDPI and the scientific journal Technologies (ISSN: 2227-7080; Impact Factor: 3.6; CITESCORE:8.5), in collaboration with our Co-Organizer, the Department of Mechanical Engineering, National University of Singapore (NUS). This online conference will take place from 11−13 November 2026 CET, addressing the latest advancements in technological studies and their applications for shaping a sustainable and innovative future.
The conference will focus on a broad range of topics, including emerging technologies for health and well-being, artificial intelligence and data-driven systems, green and sustainable engineering, advanced manufacturing, robotics, materials science, and digital transformation strategies, among others.

Our conference offers a prestigious international platform for researchers, policymakers, and industry leaders. Here, you will have the invaluable opportunity to engage with cutting-edge research, share insights with leading experts, and contribute to shaping technological practices and innovations for the future. Provost Chair Professor Manoj Gupta was a former Head of Materials Division of the Mechanical Engineering Department. He did his Ph.D. from University of California, Irvine, USA (1992), and postdoctoral research at University of Alberta, Canada (1992). He has worked for about 40 years in the area of metallic materials with particular focus on metallic composites of different types. He has taken multiple consultancy work related to failure of materials besides teaching many people in corporate sectors on the same topic. He is currently among top 1% researchers as per Stanford’ List, The Universal Scientific Education and Research Network and ResearchGate and ranked 1219 in the whole world. He has published over 730 peer-reviewed journal papers and owns two US patents and two Trade Secrets. His h-index is 89 (GS), citations over 30200+ (GS) and Reads 178,809 (Research Gate). He has also co-authored eight books, published by John Wiley, Springer and MRF - USA. A multiple award winner, he actively collaborate/visit Japan, Poland, France, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, China, USA and India as a visiting researcher, professor and chair professor.

Sotirios K. Goudos is a professor at the Department of Physics of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Thessaloniki, Greece. His research interests include antenna and microwave structure design, evolutionary algorithms, wireless communications, machine learning, and semantic web technologies. Prof. Goudos is the director of the ELEDIA@AUTH member of the ELEDIA Research Center Network. Prof. Goudos is the founding Editor-in-Chief of the Telecom open access journal (MDPI). Prof. Goudos is currently serving as Associate Editor for IEEE Transactions on Antennas and Propagation, IEEE ACCESS, and the IEEE Open Journal of the Communication Society. He is Section Editor-in-Chief of the Information and Communication Technologies Section of the Technologies open access journal.

Associate Professor Eugene Wong is the Director of Programmes for Engineering Cluster and is responsible for overseeing the engineering programmes offered by Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT). He obtained his PhD and BEng in Mechanical Engineering with Specialisation in Materials Engineering in Design from National University of Singapore (NUS). Eugene is also the Deputy Head for the National Additive Manufacturing Innovation Cluster (NAMIC) Hub@SIT. His research interests are in the area of additive manufacturing, lightweight composite materials, microwave processing of materials and competency-based education.

Prof. Dr. Miklas Scholz

DProf. Miklas Scholz, cand. ing., BEng (equiv), PgC, MSc, PhD, DSc, CWEM, CEnv, CSci, CEng, FHEA, FIEMA, FCIWEM, FICE, Fellow of IWA, Fellow of IETI is a distinguished professor of civil engineering science at Johannesburg University, South Africa. He has published 11 books and 356 journal articles. DProf. Dr. Scholz has 19,700 citations, resulting in an h-index of 68 and an i10-index of 256. He belongs to the top 2% academics regarding the i10-index. Prof. Scholz also figures in the World's Top 2% Scientists by Stanford University. He was awarded EURO 7M for the EU H2020 REA project WATERAGRI.

Prof. Dr. Valeri Mladenov

Valeri Mladenov graduated in Electrical Engineering from the Technical University of Sofia in 1985. He received his Ph.D. from the same institution in 1993. In 2019, he defended a "Doctor of Sciences" thesis. Currently, he is Professor and a Head of department Fundamentals of Electrical Engineering at the same institution. In 2014, he became a Deputy Minister of Education and Science in Bulgaria. Prof. Mladenov's research interests are in the fields of electrical engineering, electronics, artificial intelligence and neural networks. He has more than 300 scientific papers in professional journals and conferences. He is a Senior Member of the IEEE, the International Neural Network Society (INNS) and many others.

Dr. Haipeng Liu

Assistant Professor, Coventry University, Coventry, UK.

Haipeng Liu received his Doctor of Philosophy degree in medical sciences from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2018. He worked as a Research Fellow and Assistant Professor with Anglia Ruskin University and Coventry University, UK. He is a Visiting Professor of Rushford Business School (Switzerland) and a mentor of the National Medical Research Association (NMRA, UK). He is the author of more than 120 journal articles, 31 book chapters, and 12 conference papers, with over 2700 citations and a H-index of 28. His research interests include computational simulation of cardio-cerebrovascular diseases, AI-enhanced diagnostics, and wearable sensor development.

The registration for IOCTe2026 will be free of charge! The registration includes attendance to all conference sessions.

If you are registering several people under the same registration, please do not use the same email address for each person, but their individual university email addresses. Thank you for your understanding.

Please note that the submission and registration are two separate parts. Only scholars who registered can receive a link to access the conference live streaming.

The deadline for registration is 5 November 2026.

Procedure for Submission

IOCTe 2026 will accept abstracts only. The accepted abstracts will be available online on Sciforum.net during and after the conference.

Important Deadline
1. Deadline for abstract submission: 13 July 2026.
2. Abstract acceptance notification: 11 August 2026.
You will be notified of the acceptance of an oral/poster presentation in a separate email.

Abstract Submission
Abstract submissions should be completed online by registering with www.sciforum.net and using the "Submit Abstract" function once logged into the system. No physical template is necessary.
1. The abstract structure should include the introduction, methods, results, and conclusions sections of about 200–300 words in length.
2. All abstracts should be submitted and presented in clear, publication-ready English with accurate grammar and spelling.
3. You may submit multiple abstracts. However, only one abstract will be selected for oral presentation.
4. The abstracts submitted to this conference must be original and novel, without prior publication in any journals or it will not be accepted to this conference.

Detailed Requirements:
1. The submitting author must ensure that all co-authors are aware of the contents of the abstract.
2. Please ensure that all co-author information is thoroughly completed when submitting your abstract to prevent any omissions.
3. The institutional emails of all authors are requested.
4. The requirements for full affiliation include:

(2) University/Company/Institute;
(3) City;
(4) Post/ZIP code or equivalent, where available;
(5) Country.
5. Please select only one presenter for each submission. If you would like to change the presenter after submission, please email us accordingly.

Certificates of Participation are available in your logged-in area of Sciforum.net, under "My Certificates" after the conference.
Oral Presentation and Slides Preparation

The slot for the oral presentation is 15 mins. We advise that your presentation lasts for a maximum of 12 mins, leaving at least 3 mins for the Q&A session.

Authors are encouraged to prepare a presentation in PowerPoint or similar software, to be displayed online along with the abstract. Slides, if available, will be displayed directly on the website using the proprietary slide viewer at Sciforum.net. Slides can be prepared in exactly the same way as for any traditional conference where research results are presented. Slides should be converted to PDF format prior to submission so that they can be converted for online display.

Poster Presentation
- Should include the title, authors, contact details and main research findings, as well as tables, figures and graphs where necessary.
- Size in pixel: 1080 width x 1536 height–portrait orientation.
- Size in cm: 38,1 width x 54,2 height–portrait orientation.
- Font size: ≥16.

Poster Gallery Display
To recognize the research contributions of participants, we are very pleased to announce that all participants with accepted submissions have the opportunity to upload and display their research in the form of a poster at the Poster Gallery on the conference website.
You can upload your poster in pdf version in the "My submission" section. Simply select the correct conference and submission, then click the upload button. The poster gallery would be ‘LIVE’ throughout and available for viewing during and permanently after the event!

All submitted papers will undergo MDPI’s standard peer-review procedure. The abstracts should be cited and noted on the first page of the paper.

2. Proceeding Paper Publication
Authors of accepted abstracts are highly encouraged to submit an extended proceedings paper (ideally 4–8 pages in length) for the conference's dedicated proceedings volume in the Proceedings (ISSN: 2504-3900) for free, please submit it after the conference.
