The program of the 1st Molecules Medicinal Chemistry Symposium (MMCS), Barcelona, is now available in the abstract book (last update August, 31).

Dear Colleagues,

It is with great pleasure that I announce the 1st Molecules Medicinal Chemistry Symposium (MMCS), focused on the topic of emerging drug discovery approaches against infectious diseases. The Symposium will be held at the School of Pharmacy and Food Sciences of the University of Barcelona (Spain) on September 8th, 2017.

The 1st MMCS seeks to gather together experts in the field of medicinal chemistry of anti-infective agents, and aims to provide a forum for discussion regarding novel drug structural classes, therapeutic approaches, biological targets, and resistance mechanisms, which can pave the way for the development of optimized therapies against bacterial, protozoan, viral, and fungal infections.

The Symposium is organized by MDPI, the publisher of the open-access journal Molecules.

I look forward to seeing you in Barcelona.

Best regards,

Prof. Diego Muñoz-Torrero
