Prof. Dr. Ying Tan (Senior Member, IEEE) received the B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in signal and information processing from Southeast University, Nanjing, China, in 1985, 1988, and 1997, respectively. He is currently a Professor with Peking University, Beijing, China. His current research interests include computational intelligence, artificial immune system, swarm intelligence and data mining, signal and information processing, pattern recognition, and their applications. Plenary Speech: Switched-capacitor Multilevel Inverters for Photovoltaics Supplied Grids.

Prof. Dr. Adrian Ioinovici, IEEE Fellow, is the Director of the Power Electronics based on Switched Capacitors Center, the Shanghai University of Electrical Power, China, within the “one thousand foreign experts plan”, and holds honorary professorships from many universities. Previously, he served as a Professor and Director of the Power electronics for renewable energy Centre, Sun-Yat-sen University, Guangzhou under the “One thousand experts” program and as a Full Professor in the Nanjing University of aeronautics and Astronautics. He got the IEEE Fellow grade for “pioneering work in switched-capacitor converters”. He is on leave from Holon Institute of Technology, Israel.
