Professor Chang-Pu Sun is a theoretical physicist. He is an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Academy of Sciences for the Developing World. He is the founding dean of the Graduate School of the China Academy of Engineering Physics, a distinguished professor at the Beijing Center for Computational Science, and a visiting distinguished professor at Peking University. He graduated from Northeast Normal University and got his PhD from Nankai University. He was a professor at Northeast Normal University and a researcher at the Institute of Theoretical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He has received various awards and honors. He has long been involved in strategic planning work of China's physics discipline. He is the vice president of the Chinese Physical Society and holds several other positions. He has long engaged in research on quantum physics, etc. Currently, his work focuses on complex systems and energy physics, etc. He upgraded graduate education at the China Engineering Physics Research Institute. He is in charge of a project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China. Sun pays attention to training young talents and is the chief advisor to high school physics textbooks. |
