We are delighted to welcome you to the 2024 International Conference on Science and Engineering of Electronics (ICSEE 2024), which will be held in Wuhan, China, from November 22nd to 26th, 2024, and promoted by the open access MDPI journal Electronics (ISSN: 2079-9292; IF: 2.9).

Bio
Prof. Dr. Ying Tan (Senior Member, IEEE) received the B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in signal and information processing from Southeast University, Nanjing, China, in 1985, 1988, and 1997, respectively. He is currently a Professor with Peking University, Beijing, China. His current research interests include computational intelligence, artificial immune system, swarm intelligence and data mining, signal and information processing, pattern recognition, and their applications. The registration fee includes the attendance of the conference, and the access to publish in the Engineering Proceedings journal (Indexed in Scopus, ISSN: 2673-4591) after peer review. At least one author of each accepted paper should register. Participation in the conference is considered final only once the registration fees have been paid.

Please note that to finalize the scientific program in due time, at least one registration by any of the authors, denoted as Covering Author, is required to cover the presentation and publication of any accepted abstract. Covering Author registration deadline is 10th October 2024.

Please note that abstract submission and conference registration are two separate processes. During registration, please provide us with the same email address you used to submit your abstract(s). Otherwise, leave us a comment in the registration form, providing the email address used during the submission process. In addition, we prefer you to use your institutional email address for both processes.

If you are registering several people under the same registration order, please do not use the same email address for each person, but their individual institutional email addresses. Thank you for your understanding.

Cancellation policy

Participation in the conference is considered final only once the registration fees have been paid. The number of participants is limited, once the number of paid registrations reaches the maximum number of participants, unpaid registrations will be cancelled.

Cancellation of paid registration is possible under the terms listed below:
> 1 month before the conference: Full refund but 800 CNY are retained for administration
> 3 weeks before the conference: Refund 50% of the application fees
> 2 weeks before the conference: Refund 25% of the application fees
< 2 weeks before the conference:
No refund

To present your research at the event
  • Create an account on Sciforum if you do not have one, then click on Submit Abstract at the top of the conference website.
  • Indicate which thematic area is best suited for your research.
  • Submit a 250-word abstract in English - the word limits are a minimum of 200 words and a maximum of 300 words.
  • The deadline to submit your abstract is 29th September 2024. You will be notified by 27th October 2024 regarding the the acceptance for poster presentation.
  • Upon submission, you can select if you wish to be considered for oral presentation or poster presentation. Following assessment by the Chairs, you will be notified in a separate email whether your contribution has been accepted for oral or poster presentation.
  • Please note that to finalize the scientific program in due time, at least one registration by any of the authors, denoted as Covering Author, is required to cover the presentation and publication of any accepted abstract.
  • All abstracts accepted for presentation will be collected in a book of abstracts, which will be displayed on the website during the conference.
Poster information

Maximum poster size limited to 80 cm x 140 cm, vertical orientation preferred. Please print your poster prior to the conference.
A plan of the poster session will be circulated later on.

Proceeding Paper Publication

Participants are welcome to submit a proceeding paper (4-8 pages) to the Engineering Proceedings journal (Indexed in Scopus, ISSN: 2673-4591 ) from 27 November 2024 to 15th January 2025.
The peer review process is handled by the proceedings editors.
Authors are asked to disclose that it is a proceeding paper of the ICSEE 2024 conference paper in their cover letter. Carefully read the rules outlined in the 'Instructions for Authors' on the journal’s website and ensure that your submission adheres to these guidelines.

You can submit the proceedings paper here after the conference.

Manuscripts for the proceedings issue must be formatted as follows:
- Title.
- Full author names.
- Affiliations (including full postal address) and authors' e-mail addresses.
- Abstract.
- Keywords.
- Introduction.
- Methods.
- Results and Discussion.

General Publication

Participants in this conference are cordially invited to contribute a full manuscript to the Special Issue, published in Electronics Journal (ISSN: 2079-9292, IF:2.9), with a reduction of 400 CHF on the article processing charge. Please note that no other discounts are applicable. All submitted papers will undergo MDPI’s standard peer-review procedure. The abstracts should be cited and noted on the first page of the paper.

The Best Oral Presentation Awards are given to the paper judged to make the most significant oral contribution to the conference.
The Best Poster Awards are given to the submission judged to make the most significant and interesting poster for the conference.

Travel in Wuhan

Wuhan is a city in central China, located on the Yangtze River. It is a major transportation hub and industrial center, known for its rich history, cultural heritage, and beautiful scenery. With a diverse economy and a vibrant cultural scene, Wuhan offers a unique blend of modernity and tradition. The city is also famous for its delicious cuisine, particularly its signature dish, hot dry noodles. Wuhan is a popular tourist destination, attracting visitors from around the world.

Tour Route Recommendation in Wuhan

Route 1: East Lake Cherry Blossom Garden - Hubei Provincial Museum - Jianghan Road Pedestrian Street

Morning: East Lake Cherry Blossom Garden is a national 5A scenic spot with beautiful scenery and contains historical sites such as Mao Zedong's former residence and Zhou Enlai's former residence, which can make you feel the elegance of the old revolutionaries.

Noon: Dine at a restaurant near the East Lake Cherry Garden and taste Wuhan specialities such as Wuchang Fish and Hot Dry Noodles.
Afternoon: Head to Hubei Provincial Museum, which houses a large number of cultural relics and artefacts, including Zenghouyi Chimes and Yuewang Goujian Sword, etc., which will give you an insight into Wuhan's history and culture.
Evening: Stroll along the Jianghan Road Pedestrian Street to experience the hustle and bustle of Wuhan, and savour local snacks such as duck neck and bean skin.

Route 2: Yellow Crane Tower - Hankou Riverside Park - Jiqing Street Night Market

Morning: The Yellow Crane Tower is one of the four most famous ancient buildings in China, known as "the best view in the world", and is also the landmark of Wuhan. Climbing up the Yellow Crane Tower, you will be able to overlook the whole Wuhan downtown area and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the city.
Noon: Dine at a restaurant near the Yellow Crane Tower and enjoy Wuhan specialities.
Afternoon: Hankou Riverside Park, located on the north bank of Wuhan city, is a large cultural park with many historical buildings and cultural attractions, such as the Jianghan Pass Building and the Wuhan Passenger Port.
Evening: Visit Jiqing Street Night Market to taste local snacks, such as crayfish, fried snails, etc. to experience the nightlife of Wuhan.

Route 3: Hubu Alley - Wuhan Botanical Garden - Yangtze River Bridge

Morning: Explore Hubu Alley and indulge in the charm of old Wuhan. The ancient stone paths and green bricks and tiles will transport you back in time. Don't miss out on trying local delicacies like hot dry noodles and duck necks, which cost around 20 RMB per serving.
Afternoon: Discover a variety of rare plants at Wuhan Botanical Garden. This haven for nature enthusiasts showcases exotic flowers and plants from around the globe. The entrance fee is approximately 60 RMB.
Evening: Take a leisurely stroll along Yangtze River Bridge and immerse yourself in the enchanting night scenery of Wuhan's three towns. As you stand on the bridge, feel the gentle river breeze caress your face while admiring the distant lights illuminating both sides of the river.

Recommended tourist attractions within a 1-hour drive of Wuhan:

Fengwa Ancient Village is located in Phoenix Town, Xinzhou District, Wuhan City. It is a national 4A level scenic spot with rich cultural characteristics and has been featured on CCTV's "Beautiful China's Countryside Line" program. The site boasts over 20 ancient buildings from the Ming and Qing Dynasties, including Xiangxilou, Guoxue Hall, Ceramic Workshop, Guo Mansion, Tao Rui Imperial Doctor, Brewery Workshop, Theater, Garden of the Four Gentlemen, Boya Xuan, Ziyun Xuan and more. Visitors can enjoy traditional folklore performances in the Huizhou architectural complex such as Lotus Picking Boat, Dragon Boat Tunes, Two Old Men Learning Mao Election , Journey to the West Parade , The White-haired Woman Tying the Red Head Rope and Peking Opera Shajiabang Wisdom Battle.


Daye Shangfeng Nine Ancients Village is situated in Shangfeng Village of Daye City in Huangshi City, Hubei Province. It serves as an ideal destination where culture meets nature. There are nine ancient elements including ancient trees, houses, shrines, roads, woods, and wells. The entire village exudes cleanliness tidiness tranquility, and uniqueness. A leisurely stroll through numerous old buildings provides a delightful experience. Additionally, the village offers breathtaking views with its mountainous backdrop.
