The OCP Foundation is dedicated to creating better conditions for those living in Morocco and across the world. The OCP Foundation seeks to meet the needs of local populations throughout Africa and Asia to promote South-South cooperation. The OCP Foundation focuses on five major topics: economic and social development; agriculture development; support for culture and national heritage; training and research; and reflection and strategy.

ASARI has been recently created by UM6P university within Laayoune Technopole project. Located in a desert area suffering from various challenges including desertification, aridity, salinization, etc. The Insitute focus on research questions related to sustainable agriculture under marginal environment. Recently, more than 12 research projects were launched within biosaline agriculture program including crop improvement and valorization, breeding, salinity stress and native plants characterisation and valorisation. The institute has established 7 experimental platforms in the Moroccan desert for field trials conducted under salinity conditions. The institute scientific staff includes several experts including: biosaline agriculture, crop physiology, agronomy, biochemistry, soil, etc. Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P, https://www.um6p.ma/en) is an international higher education institution, established to provide research and innovation at the service of education and development for Morocco and the African continent. It has a state-of-the-art campus at the heart of the Green City of Benguerir, near Marrakesh. UM6P academics and staff enjoy strong research funding, moderate teaching loads, and excellent facilities. Its research approach is transdisciplinary with an emphasis on international collaboration. Many of our research programs run as start-ups. OCP group (https://www.ocpgroup.ma/en/home), a world leader in fertilizer production, is a major starter client for the University providing capital and research funds. In parallel, a new portfolio of clients is growing with the development of an R&D cluster around the University and a growing number of international partnerships.

Phosboucraa Foundation was created in May 2014 to operate for the well-being of the communities in the 3 Southern regions of Morocco. Since our founding, we have developed sustainable locally-relevant programs covering the region of Guelmim Oued Noun, Laayoun Sakia El Hamra and Dakhla Oued Eddahab.
