On Tuesday, 21 June 2022, MDPI and the Buildings Journal organized the 2nd webinar on Buildings, entitled "Innovation in Structural Analysis and Dynamics for Constructions".
The introduction was held by the Chair of the webinar, Dr. Chiara Bedon. She is Senior Assistant Professor at University of Trieste in the Department of Engineering and Architecture, where she is instructor for the course of "Structural Analysis".
The first speaker was Dr. Mislav Stepinac with his presentation "Post-earthquake Damage Assessment - Using STAR Technology and Methods for Rapid Assessment of Damaged Buildings". He is an assistant professor at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, University of Zagreb. He has a huge experience in rapid post-earthquake assessment of damaged buildings.
The second presentation was held by Dr. Flavio Stochino with his presentation "Simplified Nonlinear Dynamic Models for Structures Under Blast and Impact Loading". He is Assistant Professor of Theory and Design of Structures at University of Cagliari (Italy) in the Department of Civil Environmental Engineering and Architecture.
The presentations were followed by a Q&A and a discussion, moderated by the Chair Dr. Chiara Bedon. The webinar was offered via Zoom and required registration to attend.
