Welcome from the Chairs
S1. Electrochemical Corrosion Mechanism at the Interface (Localized, Crevice, Advanced Characterization Techniques, EAC, Nanoscale).
The conference features two presentation formats: oral (15-minute session including Q&A) and poster (display online in poster gallery). Submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the conference committee. All accepted abstracts will be available for registered participants in the form of a book of abstracts during the conference period. Attendees are also warmly encouraged to submit full manuscripts to the Special Issue of Corrosion and Materials Degradation (CMD) (ISSN: 2624-5558; Cite Score: 4.5), benefiting from a 20% publication fee discount. All submissions will follow MDPI's standard peer-review process.

Professor Raman Singh’s research interests comprise the nano-/microstructure and environment-assisted degradation, the fracture of metallic and composite materials, and the nanotechnology for advanced mitigation of such degradations. He has also worked extensively on the use of graphene and other advanced materials for corrosion mitigation, on stress corrosion cracking, and on corrosion and corrosion-mitigation of magnesium alloys (including their use in aerospace, defence and bioimplant applications). Prof. Singh is editor of several books, editor-in-chief and member of the Editorial Board of a few journals, leader/chairperson of a few international conferences and has given keynote lectures at several international conferences. He has authored over 220 peer-reviewed international journal publications, 15 book chapters and over 100 reviewed conference publications. Registration
The registration fee includes attendance to all conference sessions.
When registering as an "Academic", please register with your academic email address, as this will accelerate the registration process. If you are registering several people under the same registration, please do not use the same email address for each person, but their individual university email addresses.
Participation to the conference is considered final only once the registration fees have been paid. The number of participants is limited: once the number of paid registrations reaches the maximum number of participants, unpaid registrations will be cancelled.
Please note that, in order to finalize the scientific program in due time, at least one registration by any of the authors, denoted as Covering Author, is required to cover the presentation and publication of any accepted abstract. Covering Author registration deadline is 5 December 2025. Your abstract will be withdrawn if your registration is not complete by this date.

Instructions for Authors
CMD 2026 will accept abstracts only. All abstracts accepted for presentation will be collected in a book of abstracts, which will be published on Sciforum.net during and after the conference, and will only be available to registered participants.
Please note that abstract submission and conference registration are two separate processes.
Deadline for abstract submission: 10 November 2025.
Certificates of Participation are available in your logged-in area of Sciforum.net under “My Certificates” after the conference. Please note that the certificate is only for authors who have accepted abstracts or registrations and attend the live session.
Abstract Submission
Abstract submissions should be completed online by registering with https://sciforum.net/register and using the "New Submission" function once logged into the system. No physical template is necessary.
1. The abstract structure should include an introduction, methods, results, and conclusions section of 200–300 words in length.
