Prof. Amir H. Gandomi is a Professor of Data Science at the University of Technology Sydney and a Distinguished Professor at Obuda University, Budapest. His research focuses on applied artificial intelligence, data-driven modeling, and large-scale optimization to address global challenges in energy, environment, and sustainability. He has published over 400 journal papers and 12 books, attracting more than 73,000 citations (H-index = 116). Recognized among the world’s most influential researchers, he has been a Web of Science Highly Cited Researcher for six years and ranked 29th globally in AI and Image Processing by Stanford University (Elsevier, 2023). His honors include the IEEE TCSC Award for Excellence in Scalable Computing (2024), the Achenbach Medal (2023), and the ASCE Walter L. Huber Prize (2022). Most recently, he received the 2025 Sigma Xi Young Investigator Award. Prof. Gandomi also serves on multiple editorial boards and frequently delivers keynotes on AI-driven innovation for sustainable and intelligent systems.

Robertas Damaševičius is a Professor at Vytautas Magnus University, Lithuania and at Kaunas University of Technology (KTU), Lithuania, and an Adjunct Professor at the Silesian University of Technology, Poland. He is also heading the Centre of Real Time Computer Systems at KTU. His research focuses on artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, and digital twins, with applications in smart forestry, healthcare, environmental monitoring, and technology-enhanced learning. He has published extensively in international journals and conferences and has led or contributed to numerous EU-funded projects, including initiatives on smart forests, digital health, and innovative STEM education. He serves on editorial boards and as an associate editor for several scientific journals and is frequently invited as a keynote or invited speaker at international conferences. Prof. Damaševičius is actively involved in supervising PhD and Master’s students and in building interdisciplinary collaborations across academia, industry, and public institutions, aiming to translate advanced AI research into impactful real-world solutions.

Mahmoud Elsisi, Ph.D., IEEE Senior Member, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology (NKUST), Taiwan. He previously served as an Assistant Professor at the Industry 4.0 Implementation Center, National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST), and Benha University in Egypt. Dr. Elsisi received his B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Shoubra, Benha University, Egypt, in 2011, 2014, and 2017, respectively.
His research focuses on reliable Internet of Things (IoT), predictive control, and machine learning to develop intelligent and resilient systems. His work integrates model predictive control, deep learning, fault diagnosis, and neural networks to optimize the performance, reliability, and security of IoT-based infrastructures, particularly in smart grids, renewable energy, autonomous vehicles, and cyber-physical systems.
Dr. Elsisi has secured over 20 million NTD in research grants, with over 85 publications in leading journals and an H-index of 44. He has made significant contributions to AI-driven energy systems, IoT-based environmental monitoring, and predictive maintenance. Dr. Elsisi actively mentors M.Sc. and Ph.D. students and has extensive experience bridging academia with industry applications.
