It is our pleasure to invite you to join the 1st International Online Conference on Dentistry (IOCDT 2026), which will be held online from 7 to 9 October 2026, CEST. This conference is organized by the Dentistry Journal (ISSN: 2304-6767, Impact Factor: 3.4), an open access journal by MDPI.
IOCDT 2026 aims to establish a venue for scholars to present their latest research in the field of dentistry and engage in discussions with the international scientific community. The main topics and sessions of this conference are as follows:
S1. Preventive Dentistry and Oral Hygiene;
S2. Dental Materials;
S3. Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics;
S4. Restorative Dentistry, Endodontics, and Dental Traumatology;
S5. Periodontics and Implant Dentistry;

S8. AI in Dentistry.
The event will be held entirely online and is free of charge, enabling participants from all over the world to share their research and ideas without concerns of registration fees and travel expenses.
Submitted abstracts will be peer reviewed by the conference committee. After the conference, authors of accepted contributions are welcome to submit a full proceedings paper (4–8 pages), which will be published free of charge in the Medical Sciences Forum. Following the conference, selected contributions will be invited to be submitted for publication in the Dentistry Journal with a 20% discount on the publication fee.

Dr. Elio Minetti
Department of Biomedical, Surgical, and Dental Science, University of Milan, Italy;
Elio Minetti, Adjunct Professor at the University of Milan, is a leading expert in dentistry, specializing in oral surgery, implantology, and regenerative techniques. A graduate of the University of Milan with advanced training from NYU, he pioneered tooth-derived graft research, earning multiple patents and creating an automated graft-processing device. Author of Bone Regeneration in Implantology: Tooth as a Graft, he lectures internationally and teaches Italy’s first university course on tooth grafting, while maintaining practices in Milan and Tione di Trento.
Dr. Andrea Grassi
Private Practitioner, Italy;
Graduated in 2004 in "Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics" at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. From 2005 to 2007 he attended the "Second level International Biennial Master in Oral Surgery and Implantology" at the University of Verona. Speaker at national and international courses and conferences, he mainly dedicates himself to reconstructive surgery with a flapless or not flapless approach, periosteal inhibition technique, implant surgery and implant prosthesis. Co-author of the book: “Next-Generation Biomaterials for bone & Periodontal Regeneration”, by Richard J.Miron and Yufeng Zhang. Co-author of the book: “Building Better Bone, a comprehensive guide to GBR techniques”, by Roberto Rossi. Freelance dentist in Reggio Emilia since 2004.

Prof. Dr. Praveen Arany
Oral Biology, Biomedical Engineering and Surgery, University at Buffalo;
Prof. Praveen Arany is trained as a dentist and an oral pathologist. He completed a joint Ph.D.-Residency program at Harvard University as a Harvard Presidential Scholar. He has two certificates in clinical translational research from Harvard Medical School and the National Institutes of Health. He pursued postdoctoral fellowships at the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore; the National Cancer Institute, Bethesda; and the Harvard School of Engineering and Applied Sciences & Wyss Institute, Cambridge. Following his training, he served as an Assistant Clinical Investigator at the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research, National Institutes of Health, Bethesda, from 2012 to 2015. In 2015, he joined the Oral Biology program at the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, New York, and is currently an Associate Professor with tenure. He also has several adjunct positions in various institutes, including the National Institute of Aging, N.I.H.; Surgery and Biomedical Engineering, University at Buffalo; School of Nursing, Shepherds University; Tm PAI chair, Sports Medicine and Physical Therapy, Manipal University, India; Visiting Professor, Penang International Dental College, Malaysia, and Visiting Professor, Vishnu Dental College, Bheemavaram, India.
He has over 150 scientific publications with several well-cited papers to his credit. A complete list of his publications on PubMed is available. His work has over 10500 citations, h-index of 41, i-10 index of 88 (source: Google scholar), and iCITE index of 306 (source: N.I.H.). His work has been featured in many mainstream media highlights in over 70 countries, including Fox News, CNN, M.S.N.B.C., Washington Post, B.B.C., Reuters, and M.I.T. technical review, among many others. His research is routinely featured in both print and public media.
Prof. Dr. Vishal Aggarwal
School of Dentistry, University of Leeds, Clarendon Way, Leeds, UK;
Dr Vishal Aggarwal is a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Leeds and an internationally recognised leader in chronic orofacial pain research and management. His work has advanced the understanding of pain diagnosis, epidemiology, and effective self management strategies for patients living with long term orofacial pain.
Trained in dentistry at the University of Manchester and holding a PhD in Epidemiology, Dr Aggarwal’s research has been supported by major fellowships from the Wellcome Trust and the NIHR, enabling him to translate core epidemiological insights into evidence based biopsychosocial interventions for chronic orofacial pain. He also contributed to the international task force behind the ICHD 3 beta, shaping global classifications for facial pain disorders and more recently to the GIRFT RCS TMD guidance for management of TMD.
Prof. Dr. Dubravka Knezović Zlatarić
Department of Removable Prosthodontics, School of Dental Medicine, University of Zagreb, Zagreb, Croatia;
Dubravka Knezović Zlatarić is Professor of Prosthodontics at the School of Dental Medicine, University of Zagreb, Croatia, where she obtained her clinical specialist certificate in Prosthodontics and completed her PhD. She is Head of the Department of Removable Prosthodontics II and course coordinator of the elective courses “Basics in Esthetic Dentistry” and “Clinical Digital Communication with the Dental Laboratory” within the English-language study program at the School of Dental Medicine, University of Zagreb.
As a member of the European Prosthodontic Association and the International College of Prosthodontists, she has received several awards for scientific and poster presentations in the field of prosthodontics. Professor Knezović Zlatarić has served as principal investigator and project manager of several scientific projects funded by the Ministry of Science and the University of Zagreb, Croatia.
Her research and clinical focus is on various esthetic dental treatments, with an emphasis on minimally invasive procedures aimed at restoring teeth to their natural appearance. More recently, her work has also focused on digital dentistry in the field of prosthodontics.
Prof. Dr. Vitale Marina Consuelo

Prof. Dr. Marina Consuelo Vitale is graduated in Medicine and Surgery (1986) and specialized in Stomatology and Orthognathic Therapy in University of Pavia (Italy). She specialized in “Laser assisted oral surgery” at University of Paris V (France), where she carried on research in laser applications, working with professors Jacques and Françoise Melcer. Lecturer in the proficiency course "Laser in Dentistry" at University of Florence and Professor in the International Master of “ Laser in Dentistry” at University of Genova, in “Master de Odontologie Laser” at University Sophie Antipolis in Nice (France) and in EMDOLA Master at University of Parma, she is currently Professor of Paediatric Dentistry, Community Health Dentistry and Medical Techniques applied in Paediatric patient in School of Dentistry, School of Hygiene and School of Specialization in Orthodontic at University of Pavia.
She has published many papers in Italian and International scientific journals and she has taken many lectures in National and International Congresses all over the world. Since 1990 she is active member in World Federation for Laser Dentistry (WFLD), in Italian Society of laser in Dentistry (SILO) and in Italian Society of Paediatric Dentistry (SIOI). She is member of the Executive Board in WFLD – European Division and in SILO.
