Dear Colleagues,
It is our pleasure to invite you to join the 1st International Online Conference on Dentistry (IOCDT 2026), which will be held online from 7 to 9 October 2026, CEST. This conference is organized by the Dentistry Journal (ISSN: 2304-6767, Impact Factor: 3.1), an open access journal by MDPI.
IOCDT 2026 aims to establish a venue for scholars to present their latest research in the field of dentistry and engage in discussions with the international scientific community. The main topics and sessions of this conference are as follows:
S1. Preventive Dentistry and Oral Hygiene;
S2. Dental Materials;
S3. Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics;
S4. Restorative Dentistry, Endodontics, and Dental Traumatology;
S5. Periodontics and Implant Dentistry;
S6. Lasers in Dentistry;
S7. Digital Dentistry;
S8. AI in Dentistry.
The event will be held entirely online and is free of charge, enabling participants from all over the world to share their research and ideas without concerns of registration fees and travel expenses.
Submitted abstracts will be peer reviewed by the conference committee. After the conference, authors of accepted contributions are welcome to submit a full proceedings paper (4–8 pages), which will be published free of charge in the Medical Sciences Forum. Following the conference, selected contributions will be invited to be submitted for publication in the Dentistry Journal with a 20% discount on the publication fee.

Prof. Dr. Dr. Claude Jaquiéry is an Associate Professor and Deputy Head of the Department of Oral and Cranio-Maxillofacial Surgery at the University Hospital Basel, Switzerland. His research interests include implantology, jaw malpositions, Oncology, oral surgery, as well as traumatology of the facial skeleton and in particular repair of complex orbital fractures. He has contributed extensively to clinical and academic advancements in these fields and currently serves as Editor-in-Chief of the Dentistry Journal.

Georgios E. Romanos is a Professor of Periodontology (NY) and Professor of Oral Surgery (Germany). He is trained in the areas of Periodontology, Prosthodontics, and Oral Surgery; Board Certified in Oral Surgery (Germany) and Diplomate by the American Board of Periodontology. He is the past President of the Laser-Biophotonics Group, the Implantology Research Group of the IADR, the AO-Foundation, Fellow of AADR, the AO, ICD, ICOI, and the ACD; author of more than 450 publications (h-Index: 86; >25,000 citations), editor of eight books, more than 900 presentations globally; recipient of the Distinguished Scientist Award (AAP), Prosthodontics-Implant Research Award (IADR), Award for Excellence in Dental Laser Research, and the Outstanding Educator Award (ALD).

Prof. Dr. Gianrico Spagnuolo is Professor of Dentistry at the University of Naples “Federico II.” His research explores the interactions between cells, tissues, and dental biomaterials at both molecular and clinical levels, with a particular interest in dental-derived mesenchymal stem cells. He has published around 240 articles in international peer-reviewed journals, achieving an h-index of 46 and more than 6,400 citations. He also holds leadership positions within the IADR, currently serving as President-Elect of the Continental European Division.

Professor Chu Chun-Hung is a Chair Professor and an Associate Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry at The University of Hong Kong (HKU). His leadership roles extend beyond Hong Kong, as he serves as the Chair of the FDI World Dental Federation Public Health Committee and the Vice President of the Asian-Oceanian Federation of Conservative Dentistry. He previously held esteemed positions including President of the Asia Academy of Preventive Dentistry, the South East Asia Association for Dental Education, and the Society of Preventive Dentistry of Hong Kong.
Prof. Dr. Samir Nammour
Department of Dentistry, Faculty of Medicine, University of Liege, Belgium
Samir Nammour, DDS, MSc, PhD, HT, is a Professor in the Dentistry Department at the University of Liège, Belgium. He leads the postgraduate program in Laser Applications in Dental Medicine and serves as General Director of the Inter-university European Master in Oral Laser Applications (EMDOLA). Active in laser dentistry education since 1990, he received the EU Socrates Bronze Prize for the lifelong education program (third education level) and the National Merit Medal in 2007. His research centers on laser dentistry.
Prof. Dr. Christos Rahiotis

Prof. Christos Rahiotis is Professor of Operative Dentistry at the School of Dentistry, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. His academic and research interests focus on adhesive and restorative dentistry, dental materials, and the integration of digital and artificial intelligence technologies in diagnosis and clinical decision-making. He has authored numerous scientific papers and actively contributes to advancing evidence-based and technology-driven dental care.
Dr. Daniele Botticelli
ARDEC Academy, Italy
Daniele Botticelli holds a degree in Medicine and Surgery, with specializations in General Surgery and Implantology. He earned his PhD from the University of Gothenburg and serves as an Honorary Visiting Professor at Osaka Dental University. He is currently the Scientific Director of ARDEC Academy in Rimini, Italy. He has authored over 220 publications in international scientific journals. He practices as an oral surgeon at the Polyclinic Ariminum in Rimini, Italy.

Prof. Kinga Grzech-Leśniak, DMD, MSc, PhD, is an advanced specialist in periodontology and oral pathology, Full Professor and Head of Integrated Dentistry at Wroclaw Medical University, and Affiliated Associate Professor at Virginia Commonwealth University. Recognized among the World’s Top 2% Scientists (Stanford & Clarivate 2021–2024), she has authored over 240 publications on laser-assisted periodontal therapy, photobiomodulation, and antimicrobial photodynamic therapy, and serves as President PTSL, Treasurer WFLD, and Secretary/Treasurer IADR Lasers & Biophotonics Group
"Carol Davila" University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Romania
She earned her DDS and MD from “Carol Davila” University of Medicine and Pharmacy, completed a PhD in Dental Science in 2001, and received her Habilitation in 2018. She advanced her training through a one-year Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Fellowship and a nine-month Prosthodontic Fellowship at the University of Florida. An experienced oral and maxillofacial surgeon, she specializes in implant dentistry, digital workflows, biomaterials, and AI in healthcare, has authored over 100 publications, contributed to major textbooks, serves on multiple editorial boards, and holds two patents.

Prof. Dr. Erick Ricardo Silva is a Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Implant Dentistry at the School of Dentistry of Ribeirão Preto, University of São Paulo (FORP-USP), Brazil. His academic and research activities focus on bone regeneration, dental biomaterials, and implant-related surgical procedures, integrating experimental models, histology, and micro-CT analyses. He contributes to clinical and translational research in implant dentistry and collaborates with international groups while supervising graduate students in regenerative therapies.

Talk Title: Bone regeneration in implantology: the tooth as graft
Elio Minetti, Adjunct Professor at the University of Milan, is a leading expert in dentistry, specializing in oral surgery, implantology, and regenerative techniques. A graduate of the University of Milan with advanced training from NYU, he pioneered tooth-derived graft research, earning multiple patents and creating an automated graft-processing device. Author of Bone Regeneration in Implantology: Tooth as a Graft, he lectures internationally and teaches Italy’s first university course on tooth grafting, while maintaining practices in Milan and Tione di Trento.

Instructions for Authors
The 1st International Online Conference on Dentistry (IOCDT 2026) will accept abstracts only. The accepted abstracts will be available online on Sciforum.net during and after the conference.
2. Abstract Acceptance Notification: 31 July 2026.
- The structure abstract should include the introduction, methods, results, and conclusions sections of about 200–300 words in length.
- You may submit multiple abstracts. However, only one abstract will be selected for oral presentation.
- Abstracts submitted to this conference must be original and novel, without prior publication in any journals, or else it will not be accepted to this conference.
Detailed Requirements:
- The submitting author must ensure that all co-authors are aware of the contents of the abstract.
- Please ensure that all co-author information is thoroughly completed when submitting your abstract to prevent any omissions.
- The requirements for full affiliation include:
(1) Department/School/Faculty/Campus;
(2) University/Company/Institute;
(3) City;
(4) Post/ZIP code or equivalent, where available;
(5) Country.
- Please select only one presenter for each submission. If you would like to change the presenter after submission, please email us accordingly.
