Hence, by submitting an abstract to this conference, you retain the copyright to the work, but you grant MDPI the non-exclusive right to publish this abstract online on the Sciforum.net platform. This means you can easily submit your full paper (with the abstract) to any scientific journal at a later stage and transfer the copyright to its publisher if required.

3. Zoo Animals Health
This session focuses on current standards and innovative approaches in the healthcare of wildlife kept in controlled environments such as zoos, rescue centers, and reserves. We welcome expert knowledge on the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of infectious and non-infectious diseases, as well as discussions of the challenges in ensuring the longevity and welfare of animals under our care. Given the key role of zoological institutions within the One Health framework, we particularly encourage presentations of research on zoonotic diseases.

4. Biodiversity Conservation at Botanical Gardens
This session focuses on the roles of botanical gardens in biodiversity conservation. Botanical gardens are increasingly expanding their roles along the conservation continuum, acting as centers that support plant protection both in the wild and through ex situ and inter situ approaches. Their activities include plant biology research and documentation of rare and threatened species; participation in habitat restoration and species reintroduction; support for in situ conservation; the establishment of seed and spore banks and in vitro collections; propagation of valuable plant material; prevention of genetic diversity erosion and loss; and raising public awareness about plant conservation and sustainable use.
In addition, botanical gardens contribute by advocating for and advising on nature protection and sustainable-use policies. These topics, along with good practices, experiences, and case studies, are exactly what the session aims to provide.Session Chair
