JCM Webinar | Glomerular Diseases Pathophysiology and Treatment

20 January 2025
04:00 (CET)
Online

Welcome from
the chairs

This webinar will review the state of the art in the pathophysiology and management of three important glomerular diseases: IgA nephropathy, the most frequent primary glomerular disease worldwide; membranous nephropathy, the paradigm of autoimmune glomerular diseases; and lupus nephritis, the most severe complication of systemic lupus erythematosus.

Each of these diseases will be discussed by an eminent expert in the field, respectively Rosanna Coppo for IgA nephropathy, Lucia Del Vecchio for membranous nephropathy, and Gabriella Moroni for lupus nephritis. In their comprehensive, yet concise, presentations the speakers will provide not only an evidence-based review of the topic but also practical recommendations to guide the day-to-day management of individual patients. Every talk will be followed by questions from the audience and answers from the speakers. The discussion will be managed by the chairmen.

The main goal of the webinar is to provide practical information organized in an understandable manner. We are confident that our invited experts will be able to achieve that goal.
