Metal Fatigue, Mechanics, Thermodynamics
Welcome from the Chair
1st Metals Webinar
Metal Fatigue
Metal fatigue has been studied since the early 1800s. Because of its complexity, the field attracted significant attention as a research topic since then. Historically, metal fatigue studies have been the domain of experimentalists using traditional methods and empirical curve fitting models. Recently, there has been significant progress in this field, because of new developments in theoretical mechanics, theory of thermodynamics, innovative experimental techniques and new design methods. This online webinar will be hosting three of the most prominent scientists in the world studying this challenging topic.
